Ամենատխուր արջը. բրիտանական Metro-ն անդրադարձել է Հայաստանում 30 տարի վանդակում պահվող արջին

Բրիտանական Metro լրատվամիջոցն ուշադրություն է հրավիրել Հայաստանում 30 տարի վանդակում ոչ պատշաճ պայմաններում պահվող մի արջի պատմության: «Արմենպրես»-ի հաղորդմամբ՝ կայքը գրում է՝ Նելսոն անունով արջը վանդակում է արդեն 30 տարի. ենթադրվում է, որ նա կույր է:

Կենդանիների պաշտպանությամբ զբաղվող կազմակերպությունները նշել են, որ արջին վանդակում պահող տղամարդը պնդում է, որ սիրում է արջին և հրաժարվում է հանձնել նրան: Լրատվամիջոցը գրում է՝ տեղացիները նշում են, որ արջը հաճախ օրերով մնում է առանց սննդի: Կենդանիների փրկության միջազգային կազմակերպությունը դեպքը անվանել է կենդանիների նկատմամբ բռնության ամենատխուր դեպքերից: 

Այն կոչ է անում ՀՀ կառավարությանը միջամտել և տիրոջը ստիպել հրաժարվել Նելսոնից: Կազմակերպությունը արջի պահման պայմանները սարսափելի է անվանել:  Այն հայտարարությամբ ասել է. «Նելսոնը մեր՝ երբևէ տեսած ամենատխուր արջերից մեկն է: Նա 30 երկար տարիներ է անցկացրել այս սարսափելի վանդակում»:

Կազմակերպությունը խոստացել է գործել՝ արջին փրկելու և խնամելու համար: Կազմակերպության գործադիր տնօրեն Ալան Նայթը հավելել է, որ Նելսոնը տառապել է՝ ողջ կյանքի ընթացքում փոքր վանդակում փակված լինելով, կոտրել է ատամները՝ ճաղերը կրճտացնելով:

Լրատվամիջոցը գրում է՝ Հայաստանում կազմակերպության գործընկեր Վայրի բնության և մշակութային արժեքների պահպանման հիմնադրամը ավելի ու ավելի է անհանգստացած Նելսոնի վիճակով: Հիմնադիր և տնօրեն Ռուբեն Խաչատրյանը շեշտել է կառավարության հրատապ քայլերի անհրաժեշտությունը՝ փրկելու այդ ծեր արջին, որպեսզի կենդանին կարողանա իր մնացած տարիներն անցկացնել հիմնադրամի խնամքի տակ:
