Օնիկ Գասպարյանի հետ կոշտ-կոպիտ խոսել ենք Սյունիքից, ասել եմ՝ մի արատավորի գեներալի քո «պագոնները»․ բա ի՞նչ անեինք, կապիտուլյանտին գովեի՞նք․ Սերժ Սարգսյան (տեսանյութ)

Կարող եմ հաստատել փաստը, որ, այո՛, պատերազմից հետո՝ նոյեմբերի վերջին,  Օնիկ Գասպարյանն ինձ զանգահարել է, այդ ընթացքում, իհարկե, այս մասին Երևանի Արաբկիր վարչական շրջանում բնակիչների հետ հանդիպման ընթացքում ասաց ՀՀ երրորդ նախագահ Սերժ Սարգսյանը։

«Բոլորս էլ հասկանում ենք, որ Օնիկ Գասպարյանի մասին է խոսքը, այն Օնիկ Գասպարյանի, ում կապիտուլյանտը նշանակել է ԳՇ պետ, գեներալ-լեյտենանտի կոչում է տվել, հետո գեներալ-գնդապետի կոչում։ Այդ ընթացքում, իհարկե, կոշտ-կոպիտ խոսքեր եղել են, ես նույնիսկ չեմ հիշում՝ հայհոյե՞լ ենք, թե ոչ։ Բա ի՞նչ անեինք գավեինք, ասեինք ապրեք, որ մեր հայրենիքի կեսը հանձնե՞լ եք, որ 5 հազար զոհ եք տվել, ասենք՝ մալադե՞ց»,-ասաց նա։

ՀՀ երրորդ նախագահն ընդգծեց, որ անկեղծորեն պետք է ասի՝ Օնիկ Գասպարյանը   մեր զինվորականների լավագույն հատվածին էր պատկանում։

«Ես տևական ժամանակ ճանաչել եմ Օնիկ Գասպարյանին, որտեղ ինքը աշխատել է իր պարտականությունները շատ նորմալ կատարել է, բայց չեք կարծո՞ւմ, որ ծիծաղելի է, որ իր համերկրացին, ումից այդքան պաշտոններ ու կոչումներ է ստացել, զանգահարում է ինձ և իր անհամաձայնությունն է հայտնում, այսպես կոչված, մարդուն, ով ինքն իրեն հռչակել է գերագույն գլխավոր հրամանատար։

Բայց դա չէ կարևորը, կարևորը հետևյալն է՝ ինչպիսի փոխհարաբերություններ են իրենք ունեցել հենց ռազմական գործողությունների ժամանակ, արդյունքը եղել է այն, որ մենք գնացել ենք կարծես կանխամտածված պարտության։
