Քեմբրիջի դքսուհի Քեյթ Միդլթոնն իր վրա է վերցնում անցյալ ամիս կյանքից հեռացած արքայազն Ֆիլիպի պարտականությունները, որը «կապող օղակ» էր հանդիսանում թագավորական ընտանիքի անդամների միջև և օգնում էր հաղթահարել խնդիրները: Այս մասին հայտնում է Daily Mail-ը՝ վկայակոչելով միապետական ընտանիքի հարցերով փորձագետին:

Vanity Fair ամսագրում Վինձորներին նվիրված սյունակի հեղինակ Քեթի Նիկոլը կարծում է, որ 39-ամյա դքսուհին դարձել է միապետական ընտանիքի համար դժվարին ժամանակներում նրա «ամենամեծ ակտիվը»:

«Թագավորական ընտանիքը հասկանում է, որ իրենք կարևոր առանցքային խաղացող ունեն և նրան ուշադրության կենտրոնում են պահում: Կարծում եմ, որ Քեյթն ասես սոսինձ լինի: Այդպիսին միշտ եղել է Էդինբուրգի դուքսը, որն օգնում էր լուծել ընտանեկան խնդիրները: Ինչպես նկատում եմ, Քեյթը ստանձնում է այդ դերը՝ փորձելով պահպանել ընտանիքը որպես մեկ ամբողջականություն»,- մեկնաբանել է փորձագետը:
