Սահմանի ամբողջ երկայնքով տեղի են ունեցել զանգվածային ծեծկռտուքներ ադրբեջանցի և հայ զինվորների միջև: Այս մասին Ազգային ժողովում իր ելույթում ասաց Նիկոլ Փաշինյանը:

Ինչ վերաբերում է  Պաշտպանության նախարարության  կողմից նախ լուրը հերքելուն, հետո հաստատելուն, Նիկոլ Փաշինյանն ասաց.«Հիմա ասում են ՊՆ-ն ինչու հերքեց, հետո հաստատեց, քանի որ երբ հրապարակվեց ՊՆ-ին զեկուցո՞ւմ են, որ հարձակվեցին, մենք փախանք, չէ չեն զեկուցում տենց բան, վերջնարդյունքն են զեկուցում: Ադրբեջանը երկու ժամանոց տեսանյութից երեք րոպեն կտրում և տալիս է հայաստանյան իր տեղեկատվական ազդեցության գործակալներին»,-ասաց նա և նշեց, որ այդ մարդիկ հակապետական մարդիկ են:

Նա նշեց, որ ազատագրված տարածքները և Ղարաբաղի կեսը տվել են, և ինչի՞ օրինակ մեկ անգամ «Լուսավոր Հայաստան» խմբակցության ղեկավարը մի անգամ չի ասել՝ հրապարակեք, էդ ի՞նչ եք բանակցում էդտեղ: «Հիմա կարողա՞ ասեք՝ հրապարակեք՝ ի՞նչ եք խոսել ՌԴ նախագահի հետ, մենք պատրաստ ենք, բայց ամոթ է, էլ մեզ հետ ոչ մեկ ոչ մի բան չի խոսա»,-ասաց նա:

Նիկոլ Փաշինյանը արձանագրեց, որ իրավիճակը շատ լարված է: «Եկեք չթերագնահատենք, եղել է հրաձգություն, բայց կողմերը արձանագրել են, որ թյուրըմբռման արդյունք է»,-ասաց նա: Նա հարց բարձրացրեց, թե 30 հազար զինվորի  կյանք պետք է փրկենք, թե չփրկենք: «Ոս իմ վրա վերցրել եմ այդ պատասխանատվությունը :Դժոխային   ճանապարհի միջով ենք անցում, բայց պետք է անցնենք այդ ճանապարհը»,-ասաց նա:

Նա կարևորեց խաղաղ դարաշրջան մտնելը և նշեց, որ դրա համար պետք է քաղաքական կամք ցուցաբերել և կենացների տրամաբանությունից անցնել կիսատ թողած հարցերը լուծելու տրամաբանության:
