Ինչպես Հայաստան մամը հրկիզեց իր ընտանիքը կոտորած թուրքերին

Հայոց ցեղասպանության տարիներին Հայաստան Վարժապետյանի ընտանիքը զոհվել էր, իսկ ինքը՝ դուրս գալով թուրքական մարագից, վառել էր այն՝ ներսում թուրքերի հետ միասին: Նրա ծոռ՝ Գոհար Ասելեսյանը, ArmenianGenocide100.org-ին էր ներկայացրել Հայաստան տատի պատմությունը:
«Այն, ինչ պատմելու եմ ստորև, հիմնված են իրական փաստերի վրա, որոնք լսել եմ անձամբ Հայաստան տատից ու ներկայացնում եմ ամբողջովին նույնությամբ: 1915 թ-ին Հայաստան տատիկը ամուսնացած է եղել մի հարուստ վաճառականի հետ, ունեցել է երկու որդի՝ 3 և 5 տարեկան: Պատմում էր, թե ինչպես է թուրքը մտել գյուղ: Առաջինը սպանել են ամուսնուն:

Խուճապի մատնված մայրը ճչացել է, որ երեխաները փախչեն: Թուրքը բռնել է երեխաներին ու գլխատել նրանց հենց մոր աչքերի առաջ: Վշտից ու ցավից խելակորույս կինը փորձել է փախչել: Թուրքը վազել է նրա հետևից, հասել ու սկսել քաշքշել: Այդ ընթացքում գլխից սահել-ընկել է գլխաշորը ու թուրքը քարացել է՝ տեսնելով նրա գեղեցկությունը:
Հիշում էր, թե ինչպես է զարմանքից բարբաջել՝ «Մաշալաաա»… ու քարշ տվել մարագը… Հետո մի պահ լռելուց հետո շարունակում էր… «Ուշքի եկա…լուսանում էր…վեց-յոթ թուրք մարագում հարբած ընկած մռափում էին…»:
Զգուշությամբ դուրս է գալիս մարագից, կամաց դրսից գցում դռան կեռանը ու…հրդեհում: «Մինչև հիմա ականջներիս մեջա էդ անասունների վայնասունը…խելագարի նման փախչում էի մթության մեջ՝ ցավից ու վշտից ճչալով… մեկ- մեկ կանգնում ու հետ էի նայում …արդեն լուսանում էր ու կիսախավարի մեջ երևում էր վառվող մարագի սև ծուխը՝ թուրքի ճենճոտ ծուխը… մեկ լալում էի, մեկ ծիծաղում՝ գժի նման….ըտենց հասա Աղին…»,- պատմում էր Հայաստան տատիկը:
Ահա այսպես քաջ կնոջը հաջողվում է վրեժխնդիր լինել իր երեխաների ու ամուսնու համար:

Ասելեսյանը պատմում է, որ Աղինում արդեն տարածվել էր, որ գյուղում ապաստան է գտել թուրքի յաթաղանից փրկված մի գեղեցկուհի: «Ասում են, թե գյուղի երիտասարդ տղաներն ամեն օր գնացել են աղբյուրը՝ հույս ունենալով գոնե մեկ անգամ տեսնել այդ գեղեցկուհուն, բայց ավաղ, ձմեռն այդպես էլ անցնում է և նրանց չի հաջողվում տեսնել գեղեցկուհուն: Փոքրիշատե վերքերը փարատած Հայաստան մամը վերցնում է դույլերն ու իջնում աղբյուրը՝ ջուր բերելու: Ասում են, որ հենց այդտեղ ել նրան տեսնում է Երվանդ պապը, որն այն ժամանակ երկաթգծի կայարանի պետն է լինում, մի կրթված ու գեղեցիկ երիտասարդ, տեսնում է ու տեղում սիրահարվում: Հենց այդտեղից էլ սկիզբ է առնում Գալստյանների գերդաստանի պատմությունը»:

Հայաստան մամը կրկին մայրանում է, երեխաներ ունենում, այնուհետև թոռներ, ծոռներ: Գրեթե բոլոր թոռնուհիներն ու ծոռնուհիներն էլ ժառանգել են նրա գեղեցկությունը, նույնիսկ նրանցից մեկը՝ Անուշիկ Բարբառյանը, 1994թ-ին Երևանում կազմակերպված առաջին գեղեցկության մրցույթի գեղեցկուհին է ճանաչվել:
«Երբեք չեմ մոռանա այն օրը, երբ մամը հոգեվարքի մեջ էր ու ամուր փակած աչքերով զառանցում էր…Մերթ տալիս էր թուրքի յաթաղանից զոհված վաղամեռիկ երեխաների անունները…մերթ անիծում էր թուրքին.. մերթ ընդ մերթ ծիծաղում ու լալիս ու հետո կրկին ճչում բալեքին, որ փախչեն փրկվեն թուրքի ճիրաններից…»:
