Նոր ցեղասպանություն մենք թույլ չենք տալու. Սերժ Սարգսյանի ուղերձը

Սերժ Սարգսյանն ուղերձ է հղել Հայոց ցեղասպանության զոհերի հիշատակի օրվա առթիվ:

Նա, մասնավորապես, նշել է.

«Սիրելի՛ հայրենակիցներ,

Այսօր ապրիլի 24-ն է՝ Հայոց ցեղասպանության զոհերի հիշատակի օրը: Մենք խնկարկում ենք հիշատակը մեր սրբադասված նահատակների: Տեղահանության քողի տակ իրականացված եղեռնը Օսմանյան կայսրության պետական ծրագիրն էր, որ ի կատար ածվեց բացառիկ, մինչ այդ չտեսնված դաժանությամբ և հետևողականությամբ:

1915 թվականի ապրիլի 24-ին հազարամյակներով չափվող հայոց պատմությունը բաժանվեց երկու մասի` մինչև այդ ողբերգական տարեթիվը և դրանից հետո: Հրաշքով փրկված արևմտահայության բեկորները սփռվեցին աշխարհով մեկ` դառնալով սփյուռքահայություն:

Հայության նյութական, մշակութային և քաղաքական կորուստներն անչափելի են, բայց ամենամեծ կորուստը մարդիկ են, որոնք կրողն էին հինավուրց, հարուստ և ինքնատիպ քաղաքակրթության:

Մեր` ապրողներիս պարտքն է ոչ միայն հիշել ու հարգել նրանց, այլև ապրել, աշխատել ու պայքարել կրկնակի ավյունով՝ նաև նրանց փոխարեն: Ապրել, աշխատել ու պայքարել կենսահաստատ աշխարհայացքով` հավատալով բարուն, մարդկայնությանը և արդարությանը:

1915 թվականի այդ հրեշավոր ամսաթվից անցել է արդեն մեկ դարից ավելի: Մենք գիտենք, թե ինչերի միջով ենք անցել այս ընթացքում և գիտենք, որ հաղթել ենք մահին: Արցախյան հերոսամարտը վկայությունն է և ապացույցը, որ նոր ցեղասպանություն մենք թույլ չենք տալու: Այլևս երբեք թույլ չենք տալու:

Հայ ժողովրդի վերածնունդն իրականություն է, և այն իրականություն դարձավ վերապրող ժողովրդի զավակների շնորհիվ: Հայոց պետականության վերականգնումը հայրենի հողի վրա իրականություն դարձավ այդ զավակների շնորհիվ, հայ մշակույթի և գիտության վերազարթոնքն իրականություն դարձավ այդ զավակների շնորհիվ:

Այս ընթացքում մենք աշխարհին պարգևեցինք ստեղծագործ մտքի հանճարների մի ամբողջ աստղաբույլ: Նաև մեծանուն հայերի միջոցով աշխարհը տեղեկացավ, թե ինչ է կատարվել մեզ հետ և իմացավ, որ նրանք զավակներն են բնաջնջման եզրին հայտնված ազգի:

Ես այս ամենը թվարկում եմ ընդգծելու համար մեր ժողովրդի հսկայական կենսական ու ստեղծագործ ներուժը և իմ անսասան հավատը մեր հնարավորությունների և վաղվա օրվա հանդեպ: Այո՛, 1915-ին մենք հայտնվեցինք դժոխքում, բայց եթե դեպի կյանք վերադառնալու ճանապարհին մենք մեր մեջ ուժ ենք գտել նման մեծագործությունների, ապա անկախ պետականության պայմաններում՝ 21-րդ դարում ի զորու կլինենք անելու ավելին:

Այսօր՝ ապրիլի 24-ին, Հայոց ցեղասպանության զոհերի հիշատակը խնկարկելու օրը, մենք բարձրանալու ենք Ծիծեռնակաբերդի բարձունք կամ այցելելու ենք այլ հուշարձաններ Հայաստանի տարբեր բնակավայրերում և արտերկրում: Հիշենք, որ այս ամենամյա երթը երթն է վերածնված ժողովրդի, որ չի մոռացել, թե ինչ է թողել ետևում, բայց վստահությամբ նայում է առաջ»:
