Արմեն Աշոտյանը ֆեյսբուքյան իր էջում գրում է.

Հայաստանի հանրային դիսկուրսը մեծապես ախտահարված է հանցավոր միամտության և կարճատես ռոմանտիզմի վիրուսով, ուստի կարևոր եմ համարում իրական քաղաքականության՝ real politic-ի ցավալի մի դրույթ առավել մանրամասն քննարկել ձեզ հետ:

Աշխարհում շատ քիչ են պետությունները, որոնց աշխարհագրական դիրքը այդքան որոշիչ ու ազդեցիկ լինի, որքան Թուրքիայինն է:

Թուրքական քաղաքական մտքի բացառիկ ինտելեկտուալներից, նախկին ԱԳ նախարար Ահմեդ Դավուդօղլին ճշգրիտ նկարագրել էր, որ “Թուրքիան եվրոպական երկիր է, ասիական երկիր է, միջին արևելյան երկիր է, բալկանյան երկիր է, կովկասյան երկիր է, Աֆրիկայի հարևանն է, սևծովյան երկիր է, կասպյան երկիր է՝ յաս ամբողջը”:

Ծովերի, մայրցամաքների և ռեգիոնների խաչմերուկում գտնվող այս պետության կարևորությունը գիտակցում են գլոբալ աշխարհաքաղաքական ազդեցության համար պայքար մղող բոլոր հիմնական դերակատարները:

Բալկաններ, Սև Ծով, Հարավային Կովկաս, Մերձավոր Արևելք, Միջերկրական ջրավազան՝ ահա այն գեոպոլիտիկ ծաղկեփունջը, որ կստանա է որպես մրցանալ “թուրքական թամբի” հեծնողը:

ԱՄՆ-ին և ԵՄ-ին Թուրքիան օդու ու ջրի պես է անհրաժեշտ Ռուսաստանի դեմ թե արտաքին բազմաթատերաբեմ պայքարը սրելու, թե հենց Ռուսաստանի ներսում պանթուրքիստական և պանիսլամիստական անհանգստության օջախներ ստեղծելու համար: Թուրքիան նաև Չինաստանի գերաճող ազդեցությունը զսպելու հանգուցային դերակատար է “Մեկ գոտի, մեկ ճամնապարհ” մեգանախագծի շրջանակներում՝ որպես այդ նախագծի միջնային միջանցքի` “Middle corridor” մարգարիտ:

Թուրքիայի արժեքն այնքնան մեծ է, որ Արևմուտքը իրականում պատրաստ է բավարարվել կոսմետիկ պատժամիջոցներով և ոչ մի հետևանք չունեցող հերթապահ քաղաքական քննադատություններով և նրան ներել և թե ռուսական S 400 ձեռքբերումը, թե մարդու իրավունքների ոտնահարումները, թե քրդերի դեմ պայքարը, թե Հունաստանի և Կիպրոսի նկատմամբ բացահայտ ագրեսիվ գործողությունները, թե հանրային նվաստացումները, ինչպես վերջերս Անկարայում տեղի ունեցավ ԵՀ ղեկավար Ուրսուլա Վան դեռ Լեյենի հետ:

Պակաս առատաձերն չէ նաև հավաքական Արևելքը՝ Թուրքական էներգետիկ հանգույցներ, նոր ատոմակայան, հսկայական ներդրումներ, միջմայրցամաքյաին նշանակության լոգիստիկ ուղիներ, աշխարհաքաղական ամբիցիաների բավարարում՝ Լիբիայից մինչև Հարավային Կովկաս, etc:

 

Ռուսաստանի և Չինաստանի համար Թուրքիան եվրասիական տարածքը ցեմենտող և Արևմուտքի ոտնձգությւոններից ապահովագրող կարևորագույն գործոն է Սև ծովից մինչև Միջին Ասիա ընկած հսկայական տարածքում: Առանց Թուրքիայի ներգրավման անհնար կլինի կոնսոլիդացնել եվրասիական ողջ պոտենցիալը գեոպոլիտիկ պայքարի առկա փուլում:
