ՄԱԿ. 2020 թվականին 22 տարվա ընթացքում առաջին անգամ ծայրահեղ աղքատության աճ է գրանցվել

Ծայրահեղ աղքատության մակարդակն աշխարհում 2020 թվականին աճել է առաջին անգամ վերջին 22 տարվա ընթացքում: Այս մասին չորեքշաբթի հայտարարել է ՄԱԿ-ի գլխավոր քարտուղար Անտոնիո Գուտերեշը` ելույթ ունենալով ՄԱԿ-ի Անվտանգության խորհրդի` հեռավար ձեւաչափով տեղի ունեցած նիստին, որը նվիրված էր խաղաղության եւ կայունության պահպանմանն աշխարհում, փոխանցում է ՏԱՍՍ-ը:

Գլխավոր քարտուղարը նշել է , որ կորոնավիրուսային համավարակը սրել է մի շարք բացասական միտումներ: «2020 թվականին 22 տարվա ընթացքում առաջին անգամ ծայրահեղ աղքատության աճ է գրանցվել,- ասել է նա:- Փխրուն իրավիճակում եւ հակամարտությունների պայմաններում տնտեսական գործունեության անկումը լրացուցիչ 18 միլիոնից մինչեւ 27 միլիոն մարդ կգցի աղքատության մեջ»:

Գուտերեշը նաեւ նշել է, որ ամբողջ աշխարհում «խորանում է գենդերային անհավասարությունը, ընդ որում, աշխարհը տասնամյակներով հետ է ընկել աշխատող կանանց` որպես ներառական զարգացման առանցքային խթան, մասնաբաժնի տեսանկյունից»:

«Եթե մենք պատրաստվում ենք ճեղքել աղքատության եւ կոնֆլիկտների շղթան, մեզ ավելի հավակնոտ մոտեցում է անհրաժեշտ, որը հիմնված կլինի Կայուն զարգացման նպատակներում ամրագրված երկու սկզբունքների վրա»,- համոզված է համաշխարհային կազմակերպության ղեկավարը:

«Նախ, դա փոխկախվածությունն է. չի կարող լինել կայուն զարգացում առանց խաղաղության եւ խաղաղություն` առանց կայուն զարգացման, - թվարկել է նա: - Երկրորդը ներգրավվածությունն է: «Ոչ մեկին հետեւում չթողնելու» պարտավորությունը պետք է զարգացման խթանմանը, ինչպես նաեւ հակամարտությունների կանխմանն ու լուծմանն ուղղված մեր ջանքերի կենտրոնում լինի»:
