Կորոնավիրուսի դեմ պատվաստանյութի վրա աշխատող աշխարհահռչակ գիտնականը սպանվել է Պետերբուրգում

Սանկտ Պետերբուրգում սպանված աշխարհահռչակ գիտնական Ալեքսանդր Կագանսկին վերջին ամիսներին Էդինբուրգում աշխատում էր կորոնավիրուսի դեմ պատվաստանյութի վրա: Այս մասին հաղորդել է «Невские новости» հրատարակությունը:

Տվյալների համաձայն՝ Կագանսկին Պետերբուրգ էր մեկնել Մեծ Բրիտանիայից, որտեղ աշխատում էր՝ որպես Էդինբուրգի համալսարանի սինթետիկ էպիգենետիկայի լաբորատորիայի վարիչ: Գիտնականը Պետերբուրգ էր մեկնել՝ ծնողների շիրիմներին այցի: Նա նաև հանդիպել է դասընկերոջ հետ, ում բնակարանում, հետաքննության համաձայն, նրանց միջև բախում է տեղի ունեցել, ինչի արդյունքում գիտնականը սպանվել է:

Դեկտեմբերի 20-ին մի կին զանգել է ոստիկանություն և հայտնել, որ 14-րդ հարկի լուսամուտից կիսամերկ տղամարդ է ընկել: Դեպքի վայր ժամանած ոստիկանները պարզել են մահացածի ինքնությունը: Կագանսկու մարմնի վրա բռնության հետքեր են գտել: Ռուսաստանի քննչական կոմիտեն քրեական գործ է հարուցել ՌԴ Քրեական օրենսգրքի 105-րդ հոդվածի 1-ին մասով («Սպանություն»):

45-ամյա Ալեքսանդր Կագանսկին աշխարհահռչակ կենսաբան էր: Նա զբաղվել է ուռուցքաբանությամբ, քաղցկեղային հետազոտություններով և եղել է Երկրի կենսաբազմազանության ուսումնասիրման և պահպանման միջազգային շարժման գաղափարական ոգեշնչողներից մեկը: Կագանսկին աշխատել է Պետերբուրգի, Վլադիվոստոկի, Վաշինգտոնի և Էդինբուրգի համալսարաններում:
