Հայաստանի պաշտպանության նախարարությունում նախօրեին տեղի է ունեցել հանդիպում Իրանի ռազմական կցորդի հետ, որին փոխանցվել է տեղեկություն Իրանի սահմանին ադրբեջանական գործողությունների վերաբերյալ:

Մասնավորապես, ադրբեջանցիները, այսպես ասած ծածկվելով իրանյան սահմանով, փորձում են այն փաստացի վերածել արցախյան ՊԲ դիրքերը գրոհելու քողարկվող դիրքի, քանի որ հայկական կողմը, անսալով պատերազմող կողմերին Իրանի կոչերին՝ ձեռնպահ է մնում անել գործողություններ, որոնք կարող են պատահաբար թիրախավորել նաև բարեկամ Իրանի տարածքը: Ամբողջ հարցն այն է, սակայն, որ, ինչպես հրադադարի դեպքում, այդպես էլ այս պարագայում, հայկական կողմը ցուցաբերում է սեփական խոսքի համար պատասխանատվություն և պատվախնդրություն, թշնամին մինչ փորձում է ընդամենն օգտվել դրանից: Եվ ահա, Հայաստանի ՊՆ-ում Իրանի ռազմական կցորդին հյուրընկալելով, ըստ պաշտոնական հաղորդագրության տեղեկացրել, իրազեկել և նախազգուշացրել են նրան. եթե Ադրբեջանը շարունակի քողարկվել իրանական սահմանով, ապա հայկական կողմը իրեն իրավունք կվերապահի այլևս անել գործողություններ, պատժիչ թիրախավորում՝ անկախ այն բանից, որ դա կարող է պատահաբար հատել նաև իրանյան սահմանը:

Այլ կերպ ասած, Երևանը հարցադրումը արել է բավականին պարզ՝ կա՛մ Իրանն է խոսքից անցնում գործի և առարկայորեն պատժում Ադրբեջանին իր տարածքը հարվածի տակ դնելու կամ հարվածի նպատակով օգտագործելու համար, կա՛մ հայկական կողմը ազատ է պաշտպանվելու անհրաժեշտությամբ հասցնել հարվածներ, որոնք պարունակում են նաև բարեկամ Իրանի տարածքը շոշափելու ռիսկ: Թեհրանը մի շարք անգամներ ողջունելիորեն արել է զգուշացումները, սակայն պարզվում է, որ կա խոսքից գործի անցնելու անհրաժեշտություն: Հակառակ դեպքում, Արցախի ՊԲ-ն պատրաստ է գործել ինքը, միայն թե նախապես տեղեկացնում է այդ մասին Իրանին, հաշվի առնելով և գնահատելով հայ-իրանական կարևորագույն հարաբերությունը։
