Երկակի ստանդարտները մարդու տառապանքի հավերժական պատճառն են: Օրինակ ՝ ուսումնասիրությունները ցույց են տվել, որ ֆինանսական շուկայում գենդերային անհավասարության պատճառով տղամարդիկ ավելի շատ առավելություններ ունեն, քան կանայք: Ժամանակն անցնում է, բայց շատերի մտքում կանխակալ վերաբերմունքն ակնհայտորեն  արմատախիլ չի լինում:

1. Դիմահարդարում

Կոսմետիկայի վերաբերյալ հասարակության մեջ կա երկակի կարծիք: Երբ մարդիկ տեսնում են մի կնոջ, ով դիմահարդարվում է, անմիջապես նրան անվանում են «ներկված տիկնիկ», իսկ եթե կինը ընդհանրապես չի շպարվում, ապա նրան անվանում են «серая мышка», մտածելով որ նա չի ցանկանում հետևել իր արտաքին տեսքին: 

2. Կարիերա և ընտանիք

Երբ կինն ուշադրությունը սևեռում է ընտանիքի և տնային գործերի վրա, ապա նրա մասին ասում են, թե «նստել է ամուսնու վզին», իսկ երբ նա ստեղծում է իր սեփական կարիերան և կայանում որպես անկախ կին, ապա նա եսասեր կարիերիստ է, ով չի մտածում ընտանիքի մասին:

3. Գիտելիք և ժամանց

Ինչ-որ մեկը կարո՞ղ է պատկերացնել, որ դասական գրականության սիրահարը կարող է լինել ոչ թե ձանձրալի, հանգիստ մարդ, այլ ընկերության գլխավոր ղեկավար, մինչդեռ մի ինվերտային երեկույթ ունեցող աղջիկ կարող է լինել  վատ պատվով, ոչ առաքինի մարդ:

4. Գենդերային անհավասարություն

Վաղուց արդեն արմատավորվել է կարծրատիպ, որ տղաները ապագա ֆիզիկոսներ և ծրագրավորողներ են, իսկ աղջիկները ` բանասերներ և դիզայներներ, և ոչ ոք չի կարողանում ընդունել այն փաստը, որ տղամարդը կարող է լինել հիանալի արվեստագետ, դիզայներ, երգահան, իսկ աղջիկները բիզնեսլեդիներ, կայացած կազմակերպությունների ղեկավարներ, գիտնականներ և այլն:

5. Համարձակ և անամոթ

Փարթամ կրծքերով կնոջ՝ բաց հագուստով տանից դուրս գալը, շրջապատի աչքերում համարձակության և ինքնուրույնության նշան է, իսկ կրծքով կերակրելու բնական գործընթացը՝ անամոթության:

Ո՞վ և ինչո՞ւ է ստեղծել այս կարծրատիպերը, և ինչու է որոշել կնոջը դնել կաղապարների մեջ անհայտ է, բայց ժամանակն է գիտակցել, որ կինը, ինչպես և տղամարդը՝ մարդ է և իրավասու է ունենալ սեփական կարծիք, ցանկություններ և առաջընթացի հնարավորություն բոլոր բնագավառներում:
