Ազատ մամուլը ժողովրդավարության հենասյուններից է: Չափազանց կարևոր է ճշգրիտ տեղեկատվության տրամադրումը հասարակությանը, սակայն որոշ լրատվական կայքեր դիմում են պարզունակ մանիպուլիացիաների՝ իրենց ժողովրդավար հորջոոջող քաղաքական տերերին գոհացնելու համար: Խոսքը գնում է «1in.am»-ի մասին : Այս լրատվականը շատ հաճախ հարցազրույցների ընթացքում քաղաքագետների հետ, կանխամտածված կերպով նենգափոխում է նրանց խոսքը և հանրությանը ներկայացնում սեփական քաղաքական գաղափարներին համապատասխան բովանդակությամբ տեղեկատվություն : Ցավալի է բայց փաստ, որ «1in.am»-ը ոչ թե զբաղվում է արդար անաչառ լրատվությամբ, ինչի մասին սիրում են խոսել լրատվականի հովանավորյալները, այլ ընդամենը քաղաքական ուժերից մեկի գործիքն է և ըստ անհրաժեշտության, լրատվական կայքի բոլոր ծրագրերը ծառայում են հստակ՝ նեղ քաղաքական նպատակների: Չափազանց բացասական երևույթ է քաղաքագետի խոսքը այլ շեշտադրությամբ մատուցելը, ինչը վնասում է թե տվյալ քաղաքագետի հեղինակությանը թե միտված է մոլորեցնել հանրությանը: Ակնառու օրինակ է Արմեն Բադալյանի հետ հարցազրույցը որտեղ անդրադարձ կա «Արարատցեմենտ» ընկերության հարկային պարտավորությունների խնդրին, որտեղ դիտավորյալ կերպով չի նշվում որ «Արարատցեմենտ»-ի ներկայացուցիչների ՝ Սեդրակ Առուստամյանի կողմից պաշտոնապես հերքվել է այդ տեղեկությունը, ինչը պարտավոր է անել և ներկայացնել բոլոր կողմերի փաստարկները և ապացույցները: Վերը նշվածը կենդանի օրինակ է այն բանի որ «1in.am»-ը տեղեկատվությունը տրամադրում է միակողմնանի, հստակ քաղաքական ենթատեքստով, երբեմն տնտեսականը խառնելով քաղաքականին: Հարցազրույցները, բանավեճերը, քննարկումները քաղաքագետների հետ օգնում են հասարակությանը ամբողջական պատկերուցում կազմել ժամանակի առավել արդիական հարցերի վերաբերյալ, և ահա այսպիսի լրատվականները ոչնչացնում են լրատվական մշակույթը այն դարձնելով քաղաքական գործիք: Անաչառ մամուլի դերը մեծ կարևորություն ունի ժողովրդավարության ամրապնդման տեսանկյունից և նման « լրատվական » կայքերը միայն վնասում են դրան:
