Աշխարհի յուրաքանչյուր 6-րդ բնակիչ ցանկանում է ընդմիշտ լքել իր հայրենիքը եւ բնակություն հաստատել այլ երկրում: Այս մասին են վկայում այս շաբաթ հրապարակված, 2015-2017 թվականներին ամերիկյան Gallup խմբի կողմից 152 երկրների ավելի քան 450,000 մարդկանց հարցման արդյունքները:

Միացյալ Նահանգները շարունակում է մնալ պոտենցիալ ներգաղթյալների առավել ցանկալի բնակավայրը։ Այստեղ է ցանկանում տեղափոխվել հարցման ենթարկվածների 21 տոկոսը: Երկրորդ եւ երրորդ տեղերը ներգաղթյալների առավել ցանկալի երկրների ցուցակում կիսում են Կանադան եւ Գերմանիան՝ յուրաքանչյուրը 6 տոկոսով:

Այսպես, Հայաստանը, Նիգերիան եւ Հոնդուրասը մի շարքում էին. այս երկրներից ցանկանում էր արտագաղթել բնակչության գրեթե կեսը՝ 47 տոկոսը, մինչդեռ քաղաքացիական պատերազմից տառապող Սիրիայից ցանկանում էր արտագաղթել երկրի բնակչության 46 տոկոսը:

Համաշխարհային մակարդակով արտագաղթել ցանկացողների ներկա տոկոսը առավելագույնն է նախորդ դարի 30-ականների տնտեսական խոշոր անկումից ի վեր: Միեւնույն ժամանակ, Եվրամիության անդամ պետությունների բնակչության թվում արտագաղթի ցանկության աճ վերջին տասնամյակներում չի արձանագրվել:
