Վրաստանի ընտրությունները կարևոր են Հայաստանի և հետխորհրդային այլ երկրների համար. վրացի լրագրող

Վրաստանի նախագահական ընտրությունների երկրորդ փուլի խաղադրույքներն աննախադեպ բարձր են թե՛ Վրաստանի և թե՛ Արևմուտքի համար: Կա՛մ Վրաստանը ցույց կտա, որ հաղթահարել է հետխորհրդային տրանսֆորմացիան և անցել կայուն ժողովրդավարության վարչակարգի՝ վաստակելով եվրոպական ընտանիքին միանալու իրավունքը, կա՛մ ժողովրդավարացման պատկերը մեծ անկում կապրի` երկիրը վերադարձնելով հետսովետական ճահճի մեջ: Այս մասին The Washington Post-ում գրում է Ամերիկայի ձայնը կազմակերպության Վրաստանի մասնաճյուղի թողարկած Washington Today շաբաթաթերթի թղթակից Իա Մեուրմիշվիլին:

Նրա խոսքով` այժմ ամենակարևորն այն է, որ չորեքշաբթի ընտրություններն անցնեն խաղաղ, արդար և ազատ, իսկ երկու կողմերն ընդունեն արդյունքները` անկախ նրանից, թե ով կհաղթի: Հոկտեմբերի 28-ին առաջին փուլում զգացմունքների տեղատարափ էր, և քաղաքական բանավեճը ողողված էր փոխադարձ վիրավորանքներով, իսկ բռնության և հասարակական բախումների հավանականությունը չափազանց մեծ էր: Երկրորդ փուլի խաղաղ և միջազգայնորեն ընդունելի արդյունքները կարող են վերականգնել ազգային միասնությունը` Վրաստանը վերադարձնելով իր եվրոպականացման ուղուն:

2012-ին Վրաստանին հաջողվեց անցկացնել արդար ժողովրդավարական ընտրություններ, որոնցով երկրի պատմության մեջ առաջին անգամ տեղի ունեցավ խաղաղ իշխանափոխություն: «Այժմ` 6 տարի անց, Վրաստանում տեղի է ունենում հերթական կարևորագույն ժողովրդավարացման գործընթացը, որտեղ կառավարության առաջադրած թեկնածուն չի հաղթահարել նախագահական ընտրությունների առաջին փուլը: Արդյունքում տեղի է ունենալու ընտրությունների երկրորդ փուլ, ինչը վկայում է իրական ժողովրդավարական համակարգի ձևավորման մասին»,- գրում է հեղինակը:

Եթե երկրում արդար ընտրություններ չանցկացվեն, ապա Արևմուտքում դա կընդունեն որպես նշան, որ Վրաստանը պատրաստ չէ դեռևս դառնալու եվրոպական ընտանիքի անդամ, ինչը ողբերգական կլինի նրանց համար, ովքեր պայքարել են երկիրն այս օրվան հասցնելու համար: Իսկ հաջող ընտրությունների արդյունքում, ըստ հեղինակի, վրացիները կհաստատեն, որ իսկապես արևմտյան մտածողությամբ, ազատասեր ժողովուրդ են, որն արժևորում է բաց հասարակության առկայությունը: Նման արդյունքը պետք է որ Վրաստանը դարձնի տրանսատլանտյան ընտանիքի անդամ:

Հեղինակը գրում է, որ այս ամենը կարևոր է ոչ միայն Վրաստանի, այլև Արևմուտքի համար: Եթե Վրաստանին հաջողվի վերածվել զարգացող շուկայական տնտեսությամբ կայուն ժողովրդավարական հասարակության, ապա դա մեծ ազդեցություն կունենա Ուկրաինայի, Հայաստանի և այլ հետխորհրդային երկրների համար, այդ թվում` Ռուսաստանի:

Ուստի Վրաստանը և Արևմուտքը պետք է ամեն ինչ անեն, որպեսզի նախագահական ընտրությունները հաջողությամբ պսակվեն: Վրացիները պետք է ապահովեն ազատ և արդար ընտրություններ, Արևմուտքն էլ օգնի այդ հարցում և հաջողության դեպքում՝ ընդարձակի աջակցությունն ու համագործակցությունը` ի վերջո Վրաստանին ընդունելով եվրոպական երկրների շարքը:

«Սա իսկապես համակողմանի հաղթանակ կլինի Վրաստանի, Արևմուտքի և հետխորհրդային ժողովրդավարացման փորձի համար»,- գրում է հեղինակը:
