Ինչո՞ւ են կոճակները աջ կամ ձախ կողմում

Մենք գիտենք, որ...

Հագուստի վրա տղամարդկանց կոճակները աջից են, կանանց մոտ՝ ձախից, և այդպես է արված, որ կանանց և տղամարդկանց հագուստները տարբերվեն իրարից:

Իրականում այդպես չէ:

Աջից և ձախից կոճակներ ունենալու սովորույթը ավելի հին պատմություն ունի: Նախկինում այնպես չէր, որ հնարավոր էր շփոթել կանանց և տղամարդկանց հագուստները: Կոճակներ սկսել են օգտագործել դեռ վաղ ժամանակներից: Առաջին առարկաները, որոնք նման են կոճակի, հայտնաբերվել են Հնդկաստանում իրականացված պեղումների ընթացքում և վերաբերում են մեր թվարկությունից առաջ 2800–2600 թվականներին: Սրանք պատրաստվում էին խեցուց և ավելի շուտ օգտագործվում էին որպես զարդարանք: Հին դարերում որպես հագուստ հիմնականում օգտագործվում էր մարմնին փաթաթված գործվածքի ամբողջական կտոր, ուստի կոճակների կարիք այնքան էլ չկար: Կոճակներն իրենց ներկայիս նշանակությամբ սկսել են օգտագործել միայն այն ժամանակ, երբ ազնվականները և զինվորականները սկսեցին հագնել կիպ հագուստներ: Դրանք այն ժամանակ մոդայիկ էին, իսկ կոճակների քանակը և որակը ցուցադրում էին հագուստի տիրոջ սոցիալական աստիճանը և հարստությունը: Կոճակները թանկ էին, քանի որ պատրաստվում էին թանկարժեք նյութերից՝ ոսկի, արծաթ, թանկարժեք քարեր և այլն: Մինչև վիզը կոճկվող հագուստը կարող էր ունենալ անգամ հարյուրից ավելի կոճակներ: Այդ ժամանակ էլ հենց կոճակները սկսեցին կարել ձախ կամ աջ կողմից: Կանանց շորերին կոճակները կարվում էին ձախից: Պատճառն այն է , որ ազնվական տիկինը սովորաբար ինքը չէր հագնում շորերը: Աղախնի համար տիրուհու շորերը հագցնելիս հարմար է, որ կոճակները լինեն ձախից և կոճկվեն դեպի աջ (այս դեպքում կոճկելու պրոցեսը կատարվում է աջ ձեռքով և ավելի հարմար է): Բացի այդ, կինը երեխային կերակրելիս սովորաբար գրկում է ձախ ձեռքով , այդպես կարելի է երեխայի գլուխը չմրսեցնելու համար ծածկել շորի փեշով, իսկ այդ ժամանակ աջ ձեռքը ազատ է

լինում ինչ–որ բան անելու համար՝ որևէ գործ անելու կամ հովհար, գիրք բռնելու համար: Տղամարդիկ սովորաբար իրենք էին հագնում շորերը և հարմար էր, որ կոճակը լինի աջից և կոճկվի դեպի ձախ: Բացի այդ, զենքը պահելով ձախ կողմում՝ հարմար է աջ ձեռքը ցուրտ եղանակներին դնել շորի մեջ, կոճակների արանքում և մշտապես պատրաստ լինել կռվի չսառած ձեռքով:

Ներկայումս, իհարկե, կանանց և տղամարդկանց հագուստների տարբերությունները այնքան էլ չեն պահպանվում, կարելի է հաճախակի հանդիպել կանանց հագուստ, որի կոճակները կարված են աջից: Ընդհանուր առմամբ, պրակտիկ տեսակետից աջլիկների համար հարմար է, որ կոճակները լինեն աջից, իսկ ձախլիկների համար՝ ձախից:

Ուժեղ անձնավորությունները իրականում չեն էլ նայում՝ կոճակները աջից են , թե ձախից: Օրինակ, Նիկիտա Խրուշչովը մի անձրևանոց է ունեցել, որի կոճակները եղել են ձախից: Հարցն այն է, որ Նիկիտա Սերգեևիչը ձախլիկ էլ չէր, որ մտածես, թե հարմարության համար է այդ անձրևանոցը գնել, կամ էլ խիստ մոդայիկ հագնվող չէր: Նա պրակտիկ մարդ էր, և երևի թե նրա համար միևնույն էր, թե որ կողմից են կոճկվում կոճակները:
