Երեկ՝ սեպտեմբերի 11-ին, խոշոր ավտովթար է տեղի ունեցել Լոռու մարզում։ Ժամը 15։40-ի սահմաններում Սարամեջ գյուղի բնակիչ՝ 22-ամյա Կարեն Սարգսյանը իր վարած Mercedes մակնիշի 34 ԼA 989 համարանիշի ավտոմեքենայով Վանաձոր քաղաքի Շիրակի խճուղու թիվ 6/1 հասցեի դիմաց դեռևս անհայտ պայմաններում դուրս է եկել հանդիպակաց երթևեկելի գոտի, բախվել Վանաձոր քաղաքի Տարոն 2 թաղամասի բնակիչ՝ 31-ամյա Արման Շմավոնյանի վարած՝ Վանաձոր-Սպիտակ երթուղին սպասարկող Газель մակնիշի 0543 Լ համարանիշի միկրոավտոբուսին։

Ինչպես հայտնում է ֆոտոլրագրող Գագիկ Շամշյանը, վթարի հետևանքով Mercedes-ի ուղևորներ՝ Վանաձորի բնակիչ, 21-ամյա Գայանե Մելիքսեթյանը, Լոռու մարզի Սարամեջ գյուղի բնակիչ, 58-ամյա Լարիսա Սարգսյանը, Газель-ի ուղևորներ՝ Լոռու մարզի բնակիչներ, 58-ամյա Դոնարա Դունամալյանը, 20-ամյա Արմինե Բեգդարյանը, 16-ամյա Լիլիթ Կիրակոսյանը, 48-ամյա Նինել Ֆրանգյանը և 21-ամյա Անժելա Դադամյանը մարմնական վնասվածքներով տեղափոխվել են «Վանաձոր» բժշկական կենտրոն։
