Ազգային անվտանգության պետական վարչության պետի նախկին տեղակալ, հրապարակախոս Գուրգեն Եղիազարյանը չի կարծում, թե ՀՀ նախկին վարչապետ Հովիկ Աբրահամյանը կարող է կապ ունենալ Մարտի 1-ի գործի հետ: «Հովիկ Աբրահամյանը ժողովրդի վրա կրակողներից չէր, դա միանշանակ եմ ասում՝ երեսուն տարի նրան ճանաչելով հանդերձ»,-Aravot.am-ի հետ զրույցում անդրադառնալով Հովիկ Աբրահամյանին պատկանող տարածքից զենք-զինամթերքի հայտնաբերմանը, ասաց Գուրգեն Եղիազարյանը:

«Հովիկ Աբրահամյանն այդ զենքը ժողովրդի վրա չէր օգտագործի, իր իմացությամբ նման բան լիներ չէր կարող: Իսկ եղբորն անձամբ չեմ ճանաչում, բայց չեմ կարծում, որ Հովիկ Աբրահամյանի ընտանիքի անդամներից որեւէ մեկը կցանկանար մարդ սպանել: Մարդասպաններին ուրիշ տեղ փնտրեք, վերծանեք տեսանյութերը եւ նրանց ինքնությունը բացահայտեք»,-կոչ արեց Գուրգեն Եղիազարյանը: Մեկնաբանելով ԱԱԾ-ի վարկածն այն մասին, որ այդ զենքերը Մարտի 1-ի իրադարձությունների ժամանակ գուցե օգտագործվել են ոչ իրավապահ անձանց կողմից, Գուրգեն Եղիազարյանը համոզմունք հայտնեց. «Բացի այն, որ Հովիկ Աբրահամյանն այն մարդը չէ, որ սպանություններ աներ ինչ որ մեկի համար՝ նրա համար, որ Սերժ Սարգսյանն իշխանության գար, այսպիսի հարց տամ՝ ի՞նչ եք կարծում, աստված Հովիկ Աբրահամյանի խելքը գլխից առե՞լ էր, որ նա այդ սպանությունների զենքերը բերեր-տաքուկ պահեր, հետո ԱԱԾ-ն գտներ…Ի՞նչ է, չէ՞ր կարող այդ զենքերը վերացնել-ոչնչացնել: Մի խոսքով, խեղկատակություն եմ համարում այն կարծիքները, թե այդ զենքերով կարող էր Մարտի 1-ին մարդ սպանվել»:
