Երբ քաղաքացիական հասարակությունը ոտքի կանգնեց և անհնազանդություն ցուցաբերեց արդեն իսկ նախկին իշխանություններին և քաղաքական ուժերի օգնությամբ հեռացրեց իշխանությունից, դա արվեց նաև, որպեսզհի Հայաստանում գործի նաև արդար դատական համակարգ:

Չենք ժխտի, որ սկզբնական շրջանում դա այդպես էլ կար, երբ պատգամավորների երաշխավորությունների շնորհիվ, մի շարք քաղբանտարկյալներ ազատ արձակվեցին: Այս ամենը սակայն մեկ վայրկյանում փոշիացավ, երբ այսօր հայտնի դարձավ, որ առանց հիմքերի ձերբակալված ՀԱՕԿ նախագահ Էդուարդ Բաբայանի խափանման միջոցը փոխելու միջնորդությունը մերժվել է:

Հասկանալ չի լինում, թե ինչ սկզբունքով են առաջնորդվել, երբ մեղադրանք ներկայացնելու համար ոչ բողոք կա, ոչ էլ ապացույց: Դեռ ավելին, ինչ-որ շինծու պատմության մեջ պատահականորեն ներքաշված Բաբայանի գործը անիմաստ ձգձգեցին ու մերժեցին, այն դեպքում երբ փաստերն ու օրենքը բոլորովին այլ բանի մասին է խոսում: Տպավորություն է, որ նույն դատական համակարգը դեռ շարունակում է նախկին գործելաոճն ու ցուցումների միջոցով է որոշումներ կայացնում, այդկերպ սպասարկելով ոմանց քաղաքական նեղ շահերը:

Այսպես շարունակել չի կարելի և եթե մեկ անգամ հասարակությանը հաջողցվել է արդյունքի հասնել նաև արդար դատական համակարգ ունենալու համար, ապա երկրորդ անգամ էլ կհաջողվի, ձևը գիտենք:
