- Ինչպե՞ս եղավ, որ սկսեցիք նկարահանվել «Բանակում» հեռուստասերիալում:

- Ինչպես գիտեք, ես Թատերական ինստիտուտն եմ ավարտել, թատրոնի և կինոյի դերասան եմ: Երբ առաջարկն ստացա պրոյեկտից, չմերժեցի:

- Երբ առաջարկն ստացաք, արդեն գիտեի՞ք՝ ինչ կերպարով եք հանդես գալու:

- Սցենարիստի հետ էի զրուցել՝ մոտ 10 րոպե: Նա հարցրեց, թե ինչ կերպարում եմ ինձ պատկերացնում, ես պատասխանեցի, որ վստահորեն կարող եմ խաղալ նրա պատկերացրած յուրաքանչյուր կերպարում:

- Ձեր կերպարից խոսենք. հենց այդպիսի՞ն եք պատկերացրել, ինչպիսին որ կար: Գո՞հ եք ստացված արդյունքից:

- Որպես մասնագետ՝ ինձ համար հեշտ է խաղալ ցանկացած տեսակի կերպար: Ես աշխատում եմ դրանցում գտնել և՛ լավ, և՛ վատ կողմերը և ցույց տալ հանդիսատեսին: Կերպարս բարի էր, դրական՝ չհաշված որոշ թերություններ: Ընդհանուր առմամբ, այն ինձ դուր էր գալիս:

- Կերպարը լրիվ հորինովի՞ էր, թե որոշակի նմանություններ ուներ Ձեր անձի հետ:

- Միայն բարության առումով: Ինձ թվում է՝ դերասանի առավելությունն այն է, որ նա չխաղա այնպես, ինչպես իրականում կա, այլ այն, ինչն իր հետ ոչ մի կապ չունի: Դերասանը պետք է գտնի, ստեղծի կերպարը: Հիմա տարածված է, որ մարդիկ իրենց անձը տանում են կինո, բոլոր կերպարներում նույնն են: Ես, օրինակ, եթե չլինեի դերասան, ֆիլմերում չէի նկարվի:
