«Փաստ» օրաթերթը գրում է.

Իրանի միջուկային համաձայնագրից դուրս գալով՝ ԱՄՆ–ն փորձում է Մերձավոր Արևելքում Իրանի դիրքերը սահմանափակել, նրան չեզոքացնել: «Արմենպրես»–ի մամուլի սրահում հրավիրված ասուլիսում այս մասին նշեց ԵՊՀ իրանագիտության ամբիոնի վարիչ Վարդան Ոսկանյանը: «ԱՄՆ–ն իր բոլոր հնարավորություններն օգտագործում է Իրանի վրա ճնշում գործադրելու համար: Արդեն մի քանի տարի է Իրանի միջուկային համաձայնագրի կնքումից հետո Իրանը ոչ միայն կարողացել է հաջողությամբ կարգավորել իր խնդիրները տարածաշրջանում այլև ներկայություն ապահովել Մերձավոր Արևելքի տարածաշրջանի գրեթե ողջ հատվածով: Մասնավորապես, Սիրիայում իրանական դիրքերն ամրապնդ­ վել են ի վնաս Իսրայելի տարածաշրջանային անվտանգության ն, և այս խնդիրն անհանգստացնում է Իսրայելին»,–ասաց Վար­դան Ոսկանյանը: Իրանի միջուկային համաձայնագրից ԱՄՆ–ի դուրս գալը ենթադրում է պատժամիջոցներ Իրանի նկատմամբ: Վարդան Ոսկա­նյանը նկատեց, որ ԱՄՆ–ն փորձելու է Իրանի տնտեսությունը հասցնել քայքայման՝ դրանից բխող բոլոր հետևանքներով: «Ակնհայտ է մի բան, որ Իրանի համար ստեղծված իրավիճակը սովորական է, այն է՝ մի քանի ճակատով պետք է պատերազմի: Իրանցիները համարում են, որ իրենց պետության համար շարքային երկրի կարգավի­ ճակն անընդունելի է: Իրանը պետք է լինի Մերձավոր Արևել քում գերտերություն»,– ասաց Վարդան Ոսկանյանը: Իրանագետի խոսքով՝ Հայաստանն Իրանի հետ աշխատել է, աշխատում է և պետք է աշխատի անկախ պատժամիջոցների առկայությունից կամ բացակայությունից: ԱՄՆ–ն հայտարարում է, որ ուղղակիորեն պատժամիջոցներ կարող է կիրառել այն ընկերությունների նկատմամբ բ, որոնք աշխատում են Իրանում մ՝ անկախ նրանից՝ ամերիկյան, թե Եվրոպականն, թե այլ ընկերություն­ներ են: Դա որոշակի վախ կարող է առա­ ջացնել հայաստանյան ընկերությունների շրջանում: «Ցանկացած պարագայում, Հայաստանը պետք է հստակորեն հասկացնի բոլոր կող­ մերին՝ անկախ նրանից, թե ով է այդ կողմը, որ Հայաստան–Իրան հարաբերությունները մեզ համար կենսական նշանակություն ունեն, որևէ մեկը չպետք է Հայաստանի վրա ճնշում գործադրի, որը կխաթարի հարաբերությունները իր հարևանի հետ , լինի Իրանը, թե Վրաստանը: Մենք նույնպես այս պետու­ թյունների համար ունենք կարևոր նշանակություն: »,–հավելեց Վարդան Ոսկանյանը:
