Հայաստանում մեկնարկած թավշյա հեղափոխության հաղթանակի գործում, ի թիվս շատ-շատերի, զգալի ներդրում է ունեցել Սանկտ Պետերբուրգից նախկին պետական պաշտոնյա, ազգությամբ հայ Բորիս Ավագյանը:

«Նոր սերնդի քաղաքական գործիչները պատրաստակամ են տեր կանգնել իրենց պետությանն, ունեն իրենց հակաճգնաժամային ծրագիրը, և գիտեն՝ ինչպես պետք է պայքարել անօրինականության դեմ»,-rosbalt.ru-ի թղթակցի հետ զրույցում հայտնել է Ավագյանը:
