Նիկոլ Փաշինյանը հանրահավաքին հայտարարել էր, որ բազմաթիվ հանրապետականներ իրենց աջակցությունն են հայտնել իրեն, ուստի այսօր Aravot.am-ը հետաքրքրվեց՝ դուք նրանց վրա հույս դնո՞ւմ եք: Փաշինյանը պատասխանեց, որ ինքը հույս դնում է միայն ժողովրդի վրա, եթե ժողովրդի ճնշումը լինի, նրանք արդեն հրապարակային կհայտարարեն, եթե չլինի՝ չեն աջակցի: Հարցին՝ ճնշումն ինչպե՞ս եք պատկերացնում՝ նա ասաց. «Զանգերով, ցույցերով»: Փաշինյանը հայտարարեց, որ իմաստ ունի բոլոր պատգամավորների հեռախոսահամարները հրապարակել ու քաղաքացիները փորձեն իրենց պատգամավորների հետ կապ հաստատել եւ նրանք ներկայացնեն իրենց դիրքորոշումները. «Այսօրվա, վաղվա ընթացքում ԱԺ բոլոր պատգամավորների հեռախոսահամարները կհրապարակվեն, ինչու չէ նաեւ՝ հասցեները»: Լրագրողները հետաքրքրվեցին Քոչարյանի վերադարձի հնարավորության մասին, ՀՀԿ-ն Մարտի 1-ից հետո կունենա՞ համարձակություն բերել Քոչարյանին՝ Փաշինյանը պատասխանեց. «Քոչարյանի հետ կապված ես դա համարում եմ անլուրջ»: Նա ասաց, որ շատերը հիմա փորձում են հարցը ներկայացնել՝ ով լինի վարչապետ: Բայց հարցը դրանում չի, նրանում է՝ մենք ճգնաժամը լուծում ենք, թե խորացնում ենք: Եթե ՀՀԿ-ն չի ուզում լուծել ճգնաժամը, ուրեմն ճգնաժամը կխորանա. «Մենք թույլ չենք տա, որ ժողովրդի հաղթանակը նրա ձեռքից որեւէ մեկը խլի»: Նա վստահեցրեց, որ ասելով, որ կամ ես կլինեմ վարչապետ, կամ ոչ ոք չի լինի, նկատի է ունեցել հենց դա. «Պաշտոնակռվի մասին չի խոսքը…Մենք չենք կարող անել այնպիսի գործողություն, որ կնսեմացնի հաղթանակի զգացողությունը»: Հարցին՝ Պուտինի հեռախոսազրույցից հետո ՀՀԿ-ականների դիրքորոշումներում փոփոխություն զգո՞ւմ եք՝ Փաշինյանը պատասխանեց. «Մենք էլ ենք ասում, որ 2017-ին ձեւավորված ԱԺ-ն պետք է ընտրի վարչապետ: Ես կարծում եմ, որ ՌԴ-ն հարգում է միջազգային իրավունքը եւ չի միջամտում ՀՀ ներքին գործերին»:
