Սերժ Սարգսյանի երրորդ կառավարման դեմ ընթացող «Իմ քայլը» նախաձեռնության խաղաղ անհնազանդության ցույցերն ավարտվեցին վարչապետի հրաժարականով, սակայն արդեն այսօր փոխվարչապետի ժամանակավոր պաշտոնակատար Կարեն Կարապետյանի և «Իմ քայլը» նախաձեռնության առաջնորդ, ԱԺ պատգամավոր, «Ելք» խմբակցության ղեկավար Նիկոլ Փաշինյանի չկայացած երկխոսության ֆոնին հանրապետությունում կրկին լարված մթնոլորտ է:

Այս պահին հանրապետության տարբեր հատվածներում, ինչպես նաև Երևանում վերսկսվել են խաղաղ անհնազանդության ցույցերը, միաժամանակ Մելիք-Ադամյան փողոցի վրա գտնվող ՀՀԿ գրասենյակի մոտ մեծ թվով ոստիկանական զորքեր են տեղակայված: Քիչ առաջ այստեղ բերվեցին նաև փշալարերի մեքենաները, ռազմական և այլ ոստիկանական տեխնիկա: Ոստիկանները շրջափակել են կառավարության շենքը:
