Ամուսինները նկատել էին, որ իրենց որդու գերեզմանաթմբի խոտը կանաչ է մնում․ Երբ նրանք իմացան պատճառը, ուղղակի ապշեցին

Ռեյչել և Ռեյմոնդ Վիլլասենորը հաճախ են միասին այցելում գերեզմաններ։
Այնտեղ թաղված է նրանց որդին՝ Ժոզեֆը, օդային ուժերի վետերանը։ Ժոզեֆը 36 տարեկան էր, երբ մահացավ ավտովթարից։

Իրենց տղայի գերեզման այցելելուց, տարեց ծնողները սկսել էին նկատել, որ անգամ երբ արևը ամբողջ օրը պատում էր շուրջ բոլորը, միևնույն է մի տեղ կար, որտեղ խոտը թարմ վիճակում էր և շարունակում էր աճել։ Եվ դա հենց Ժոզեֆի գերեզմանն էր։

Այս զարմանալի իրադարձությունը ուրախացնում և նույնաչափ վախեցնում էր տարեց մարդկանց։ Նրանք սկսեցին էլ ավելի հաճախ այցելել Ժոզեֆի գերեզմանին, հույս ունենալով տեսնեել այն մարդուն, ով խնամում է իրենց տղայի գերեզմանը։

Եվ ահա մի օր Ռեյչելը և Ռեյմոնդը տեսան մի մարդու, որ ջրում էր իրենց որդու գերեզմանի խոտը։ Նրանք ծանոթացան։
Պարզվեց, որ 86-ամյա Ջեյք Ռեյսսիգը այցելում է իր կնոջ գերեզմանին։ Նա ամեն անգամ բերում է նրան վարդեր և հետևում, որպեսզի գերեզմանի խոտերը միշտ կանաչեն։ Շոգ եղանակին նա այն ջրում էր անգամ 2 անգամ։

Մի օր կնոջ գերեզմանին մոտ Ջեյք Ռեյսսիգը նկատել էր մի երիտասարդ կնոջ, ով լացում էր ուրիշ գերեզմանի մոտ։ Տղամարդը տեսնելով այդ ամենը մոտեցել էր որպեսզի հանգստացներ նրան։ Դա Ռեյչելի և Ռեյմոնդի աղջիկն էր՝ Ժոզեֆի քույրը։ Նրանից Ջեյքը իմացել էր զինվորի ողբերգական վթարի և մահվան մասին և որոշել էր հետևել զինվորի գերեզմանին նույնպես, որպեսզի իր շնորհակալությունը հայտնի նրա ծառայության համար։

Ժոզեֆի ծնողները շատ հուզվեցին, երբ իմացան ճշմարտությունը։ Նրանք անգամ չէին էլ մտածում, որ իրենց կարող է այդքան հուզել մի անծանոց մարդու արարքը։

Երբ ծնողները պատմել էին այս պատմությունը իրենց բարեկամենրին և ընկերներին, նրանցից ոմանք կիսվել էին այս պատմությամբ ամբողջ աշխարհի հետ։ «Իմանալով, որ անծանոթ մարդը այդ ամենը անում էր մեր որդու համար, մենք ուղղակի ապշած էինք» – ասում է Ռեյչելը։

Մոր սիրտը, ով կորցրել է որդուն՝ հանգիստ չի կարող գտնել։ Սակայն մարդկանց բարությունը և հոգատարությունը կարող է մեզ օգնել դիմանալ անգամ ամենասարսափելի ցավին։
