Բժիշկները ցանկացել են հաղորդել մորը, որ պատրաստվում են անջատել երեխային կենսապահովման սարքից, սակայն բռնել են Քեթրին Դեվիդսոնին տղամարդու հետ սեքսի պահին, ով փոքրիկին մահացու վնասվածքներ էր պատճառել: Կինն ու իր զուգընկերը՝ Գորդոն Մակքեյը ստիպված են եղել դադար տալ միայն այն ժամանակ, երբ սենյակ է մտել ոստիկանը, որպեսզի հաղորդեր տխուր լուրը:

 


Հինգ ամսական երեխայի մոտ գլխուղեղում ուժեղ արյունահոսություն է սկսվել այն բանից հետո, երբ նախկին զինվոր Գորդոնը սկսել է նրան ուժեղ թափահարել: Սակայն, չնայած դրան, Քեթրինն ավելի շատ անհանգստացել է իր զուգընկերոջ համար, քան մահացող փոքրիկի, երբ նրանք դեռ հիվանդանոցում են եղել:
