Ես այլընտրանք չունեի.Մայրը 10 տարի քարե հատակին շղթայված է պահել սեփական որդուն:

Չինաստանի Հենան նահանգի 41-ամյա Վան Չիժ Յանը քարե հատակին անցկացրել է ավելի քան տասը տարի:
Վան Չիժ Յանը ծնվեց  խուլ ու համր, սակայն երեխայի դատողությունը  նորմալ էր, ուստի ծնողները նրան ուղարկեցին հաշմանդամություն ունեցող երեխաների համար նախատեսված գիշերօթիկ դպրոց:

Տղան բավական խելացի էր, չնայած նա չէր խոսում կամ լսում:

Գիշերօթիկ դպրոցում Վանի  մոտ սկսեցին ի հայտ գալ հոգեկան խանգարումներ, իսկ  նրա ընտանիքը չափազանց աղքատ էր, որպեսզի վճարեր բուժման համար:

Նա այլեւս չէր կարող գնալ դպրոց, եւ տանը իրավիճակը ավելի վատացավ. նա սկսեց հարձակվել մարդկանց վրա:

Երբ ընտանիքի հայրը մահացավ, Վանի մայրը `Յու Ռոնգը որոշեց, որ շատ դժվար է հետևել իր որդուն և սկսեց նրան շղթայված պահել:

«Ես ոչ մի այլ  ընտրություն չունեի, քան շղթայել նրան»: Այդ ժամանակից ի վեր անցել է տաս տարի:

Վանի քույրը 50-ամյա Վան Շուֆենը չի կարողանում հաղթահարել իր զգացմունքներն ու հուզմունքները ամեն անգամ, երբ տեսնում է  եղբորը  շղթայված կենդանու կարգավիճակում:

«Ես շատ ցավում եմ ... ավելի լավ կլիներ, ես շղթայված լինեի, իսկ  նա՝ ազատ»

Տեղական իշխանությունները հասանելիք ամսական նպաստը վճարում են ընտանիքին, բայց այդ գումարը բավարար չէ: Ընտանիքը հույս ունի, որ այս պատմության հրապարակումը  կգրավի հանրության ուշադրությունը, եւ նրանք կկարողանան անհրաժեշտ գումարը հավաքել և այժմ՝  արդեն 41-ամյա Վանը հոգեբուժական հիվանդանոց կտեղափոխվի:
