Ալյասկայի 24-ամյա բնակչուհի Մերի Կրանիկը հղիության 8-րդ ամսում վերադառնալիս է եղել տուն, երբ ուժգին փոթորիկի պատճառով ստիպված է եղել կանգ առնել մոտակա անտառի մոտ: Ավտոմեքենան արգելափակվել է խոր ձյան մեջ: Նա որոշել է ճանապարհի մնացած մասը ոտքով անցնել, սակայն, 800 մետր անցնելուց հետո զգացել, որ արդեն ծննդաբերում է:
