Առաջինը ավտովթարի վայր ժամանած փրկարարը պատմել է, թե որոնք են եղել արքայադուստր Դիանայի վերջին խոսքերը

20 տարի առաջ, 1997 թ․-ի օգոստոսի 31-ի արքայադուստր Դիանանա ավտովթարի զոհ դարձավ: Լեդի Դին իր սիրեցյալի՝ միլիոնատեր Դոդի ալ-Ֆայդեի հետ էր, երբ մեքենան մխրճվեց Ալմա կամրջի մոտ տեղակայված թունելի պատի մեջ: Վարորդ Անրի Փոլն ու ալ-Ֆայդեը մահացան տեղում, իսկ Դիանան՝ հիվանդանոցում, վթարից 2 ժամ անց:

Առաջինը դեպքի վայր ժամանած փրկարար Քսավյե Գուրմելոն էր արքայադստերն առաջին օգնություն ցուցաբերել: Դիանայի մահվան 20-ամյակի կապակցությամբ նա որոշել է բրիտանական «The Sun» թերթին պատմել, թե ինչ է տեսել վթարի վայրում և որոնք են եղել արքայադստեր վերջին խոսքերը:

-Կինը, որը ինչպես հետո իմացա արքայադուստր Դիանան էր, պառկած էր մեքենայի հետնամասում: Նա շարժվեց և ես հասկացա, որ դեռ ողջ է: Նկատելի էր նրա աջ ուսի վնասվածքը: Ես սկզբում կարծեցի, որ ոչ մի լուրջ բան չկա դրանից բացի: Նրա վրա ընդհանրապես արյուն չկար:

Հետո միայն Քսավյեն պետք է բժիշկներից իմանար տուժածի բազմաթիվ վնասվածքների ու ներքին արյունահոսության մասին: Իսկ մինչ այդ, մեքենայի մեջ Դիանայի գիտակցությունը տեղն էր և նա կարողանում էր խոսել:
