Նա ամեն օր իր մեքենայով ջուր էր տանում՝ անհայտ ուղղությամբ. երբ մարդիկ իմացան պատճառը՝ ուղղակի արտասվեցին (Ֆոտոշարք)

Ծանոթացեք, Պատրիկ Կիլոնզո Մվալուան է, ով ջուր է մատակարարում վայրի կենդանիներին, որոնք ապրում են Քենիայի ազգային պարկ Ցավո Ուեսթի չորացած հողերի վրա: Այս մարդն իր ապրուստը վաստակում է գյուղում ոլոռ աճեցնելով, սակայն նրան միաժամանակ անհանգստացնում են այն խնդիրները, որոնք առաջացել են Քենյայում գլոբալ տաքացման հետևանքով: «Մեզ մոտ վաղուց չեն գալիս այնպիսի անձրևներ, ինչպիսիք առաջ էին տեղում: Այդ իսկ պատճառով ես որոշեցի կենդանիներին ջրով ապահովել, քանի որ, եթե դա չանեմ, նրանք ուղղակի կսատկեն»,- ասում է Պատրիկը:

Պատրիկ Մվալուան օրական մի քանի ժամ է հատկացնում պարկ գնալուն, ջրի համար նախատեսված փոսերը լցնելուն: Ամեն անգամ, երբ նա ջրով լի իր ցիստերով (որը 11 լ ծավալ ունի) հայտնվում է, նրա մոտ են վազում փղերը, զեբրաները, այծքաղները, գոմեշները: «Այս տարածքում ջուր ընդհանրապես չկա, դրա համար էլ կենդանիների կյանքը մեզանից՝ մարդկանցից է կախված: Եվ եթե մենք նրանց չօգնենք, ամեն ինչ շատ վատ կվերջանա»,- պատմում է Պատրիկը:

«Երեկ երեկոյան ես հանդիպեցի 500 գոմեշների, որոնք համբերատարությամբ սպասում էին ինձ ջրափոսի մոտ: Երբ ես տեղ հասա, նրանք սկսեցին ագահությամբ խմել ջուրը՝ անգամ չսպասելով, որ ես հեռանամ»:

Պատրիկ Մվալուայի սերը առ վայրի բնություն այնքան է ոգևորել մի քանի ամերիկուհիների, որ նրանք ստեղծել են GoFundMe էջ: Այս մարդը շարունակելու է իր գործունեությունը ուժերի ներածին չափով:
