Կինը վերանայում էր ամուսնու հետ հին լուսանկարները, երբ նկատում է մի շատ կարևոր հանգամանք, որն ամբողջությամբ դժոխքի է վերածում նրանց կյանքը (Ֆոտոշարք)

Էմմա ու Ջասթին Կոտիլիարդները նոր էին ամուսնացել, և անհամբեր սպասում էին իրենք մեղրամսին. Անգամ չպատկերացնելով, որ այս ճամփորդությունը նրանց համար կդառնա մղձավանջ:

Մի օր առավոտյան ճամփորդության ընթացքում առավոտյան մահու չափ վախեցնում է կնոջը՝ արթնանալով և սկսելով գոռալ դուրս կորի սենյակից: Կինը գտնվում էր հղիության 7 րդ ամսում և այդ դեպքից հայտնվում է ահավոր վիճակում: Հարցնում է ամուսնուն, թե ինչ է կատարվում և ստանում է այս պատասխանը.

Պատմում է կինը ՝ նա չէր հիշում ոչ ինձ, ոչ որ ամուսնացած է և կարծում էր, որ նրա սենյակ է ներթափանցել անծանոթ կին: Նրանք ստիպված է վերադառնում են, և հետազոտությունից հետո պարզվում է, որ ամուսինը ուղեղի ուռուցք ունի: Բժիշկներն ասացին, որ նա կապրի 2 տարի, եթե քիմիոտերապիա անցնի:

Սթրեսի պատճառով կինը ծննդաբերում է 5 շաբաթ շուտ: Փառք Աստծո, երեխան լիովին առողջ է ծնվում: Երեխայի հայրը կարողանում էր տեսնել միայն հանգստայան օրերին, քանի որ գտնվում է բուժման մեջ հիվանդանոցում:

4 ամիս անց հերթական ստուգման արդյունքում պարզվում է, որ ուռուցքը մեծացել է: Բժիշկները նրան 2 շաբաթվա կյանք տվեցին, բայց նա ապրեց 7 ամիս և իր ընտանիքի հետ նշեց 30 ամյակը:

Ամուսնու մահից հետո Էմման սկսում է օգնել ուղեղի ուռուցքով մարդկանց: Նա հիշում է, որ ամուսնու պահվածքը փոխվել էր մինչ հարսանիքը: Նա դարձել էր ավելի զգայուն ու ներվային:

Հին նկարները դիտելիս կինը նկատում է մի մանրուք – նրա դեմքի աջ մասը կարծես կախված լինի:

Էմման հուսով է, որ նրա պատմությունը կօգնի շատերին ավելի շուտ նկատել այս նշանները և ճիշտ ժամանակին դիմել բժշկին:
