Հարազատներն ու բարեկամներն այս մայրիկին խորհուրդ էին տալիս րոպե առաջ ազատվել գաճաճ երեխայից. Սակայն, միայն տեսնեք, թե ինչպիսի հրաշք է դարձել փոքրիկն այսօր (Ֆոտոշարք)

23-ամյա Ջեյմի Ջենիկսը և իր ընկերը՝ Յակոբ Լենգը, բնակվում են Ավստրալիայում:

Նրանք վաղուց են միասին ապրում և անհամբերությամբ սպասում են իրենց առաջնեկի ծնունդին:

Սակայն հղիության 12-րդ ամսում բժիշկները նրանց զգուշացրեցին, որ պտուղն ընդհատումներով է զարգանում: Վախեցած մայրը մոլորվել էր: Նա և Յակոբը չգիտեին, թե ինչ կլինի իրենց փոքրիկի հետ:

Ծնվելուց առաջ երեխայի մոտ մասնագետները հայտնաբերեցին թոքերի անբավարար զարգացում:

Բժիշկները վստահ էին, որ երեխան ծնվելուց անմիջապես հետո կմահանա, ուստի առաջարկեցին ամուսիններին դադարեցնել հղիությունը: Բայց երիտասարդ մայրը հրաժարվեց:

Երբ Հելենան ծնվեց, ծնողներն արդեն պատրաստվում էին հրաժեշտ տալ նրան, քանի որ ըստ բժիշկների՝ նորածինն ապրելու էր ընդամենը վեց ժամ: Սակայն ի հեճուկս ճակատագրին՝ աղջիկն օր օրի ավելի ուժեղ էր դառնում:

Ծնվելուց վեց ամիս բժիշկները վերջապես կարողացան ճշգրիտ ախտորոշում տալ: Երեխան տառապում էր հիպոֆիզային նանիզմով կամ գաճաճությամբ:

Փոքրիկ Հելենան հիվանդանոցում անցկացրեց երեք ամիս՝ երեք անգամ հայտնվելով մահվան եզրին: Այդ ընթացքում երեխայի ծնողները հատուկ դասընթացների մասնակցեցին այն մասին, թե ինչպես պետք է խնամել այդպիսի երեխաներին:

Հելենայի դեմքին մշտապես ժպիտ տեսնելու համար Ջեյմին և Յակոբը շատ են չարչարվում: Նրանք երեխային հագցնում են ինչպես թագուհու:

Վայելելով ծնողների անմնացորդ սերը՝ Հելենան երջանիկ կերպով ժպտում է յուրաքանչյուր լուսանկարում:

Չեք հավատա, բայց ցածրահասակ աղջնակը դարձել է հաջողակ մոդել, ով պայմանագիր է կնքել մանկական հագուստ վաճառող խանութի հետ:
