Թրամփը սկսել է քննարկել երրորդ նախագահական ժամկետի համար առաջադրվելու հարցը․ Reuters

ԱՄՆ նախագահ Դոնալդ Թրամփը Սպիտակ տան աշխատակիցների հետ զրույցներում թույլ է տվել երրորդ նախագահական ժամկետի համար առաջադրվելու հնարավորությունը՝ մտավախություն ունենալով վերածվել «կաղ բադի» և կորցնել քաղաքական ազդեցությունը։ Այս մասին Reuters գործակալությանը հայտնել է ամերիկյան առաջնորդի վարչակազմի նախկին բարձրաստիճան պաշտոնյաներից մեկը։ ԱՄՆ-ում «կաղ բադ» են անվանում այն ընտրովի պաշտոնյային, որի ազդեցությունը նկատելիորեն թուլանում է մինչև լիազորությունների պաշտոնական ավարտը. քաղաքական գործիչը մնում է իշխանության ղեկին, սակայն կորցնում է աջակցությունը և դժվարությունների բախվում սեփական որոշումներն առաջ տանելիս։

Փետրվարին NBC News-ին տված հարցազրույցում Թրամփը խուսափել էր ուղիղ պատասխանել այն հարցին, թե արդյոք նախատեսում է մնալ ԱՄՆ նախագահի պաշտոնում երկրորդ ժամկետի ավարտից հետո։ «Դա հետաքրքիր կլիներ։ Բայց սոսկալի կլիներ, եթե ես ձեզ տայի այն պատասխանը, որը փնտրում եք. կյանքը կդառնար շատ ավելի պակաս հուզիչ, կյանքը կդառնար շատ ավելի պակաս հետաքրքիր»,- ասել էր Սպիտակ տան ղեկավարը։ Թրամփի երկրորդ ժամկետն ավարտվում է 2029 թվականի հունվարի 20-ին։ ԱՄՆ Սահմանադրության 22-րդ փոփոխության համաձայն՝ նույն անձը չի կարող նախագահ ընտրվել երկու անգամից ավելի։ Այս սահմանափակումը չեղարկելու համար անհրաժեշտ է Կոնգրեսի երկու պալատների անդամների երկու երրորդի հավանությունը և առնվազն 38 նահանգների վավերացումը, կամ էլ նահանգների երկու երրորդի նախաձեռնությամբ Սահմանադրական կոնվենտի գումարումը։

Թրամփի քաղաքական ազդեցության հարցն արդիական է դարձել նոյեմբերին կայանալիք Կոնգրեսի միջանկյալ ընտրությունների ֆոնին, նշում է Reuters-ը։ Նախագահի գործող խորհրդականներից մեկի խոսքով՝ Սպիտակ տունը փորձում է հանրապետական օրենսդիրներին ցույց տալ, որ Թրամփը նախկինի պես ընդունակ է ազդել նրանց քաղաքական ապագայի վրա։ Այդուհանդերձ, գործակալության զրուցակիցը խոստովանել է, որ միջանկյալ ընտրություններից հետո նախագահի ազդեցության աստիճանական թուլացումն անխուսափելի է։

Սպիտակ տանն իրենց հերթին հերքում են պետության ղեկավարի դիրքերի թուլացման մասին ենթադրությունները։ Վարչակազմի ներկայացուցիչ Օլիվիա Ուեյլսը հայտարարել է, որ Թրամփը «Հանրապետական կուսակցության անվերապահ առաջնորդն է և հանձնառու է Կոնգրեսում հանրապետական մեծամասնության պահպանմանը»։ Որպես նախագահական ժամկետի ավարտից հետո քաղաքական կշիռը պահպանելու միջոց՝ Թրամփի համար կարող է դառնալ 2028 թվականի ընտրություններում Հանրապետական կուսակցության թեկնածուի ընտրության ժամանակ ցուցաբերվող մասնակցությունը, նկատում է Reuters-ը։

Նախագահների կենսագրությունների գծով մասնագիտացած պատմաբան Դուգլաս Բրինկլին Ռայսի համալսարանից զգուշացրել է, որ աշխարհը պետք է նոր անսպասելի քայլեր ակնկալի Թրամփից նրա նախագահության վերջին տարիներին։ «Նրա կառավարման քաոսային ոճը ոչ մի տեղ չի անհետանա՝ անկախ նրանից, թե դեմոկրատները կստանձնեն Կոնգրեսի նկատմամբ վերահսկողությունը, թե ոչ»,- ընդգծել է Բրինկլին։
