Սեփական զրոյական կետից բանակցությունները սկսած և 26 տարվա բանակցային պրոցեսը տապալած Նիկոլ Փաշինյանն այս անգամ էլ իրեն արտաքին դիվանագիտության ռահվիրա է հռչակել ու գնահատականներ տվել Գագիկ Ծառուկյանի խաղաղության երաշխավոր երկրների շարքում Պակիստանը նշելու վերաբերյալ հայտարարությանը։
 
Նախ՝ Գագիկ Ծառուկյանը Պակիստանը նշել է բազմաթիվ այլ ազդեցիկ գերտերությունների՝ ԱՄՆ–ի, ՌԴ–ի, Չինաստանի հետ ի թիվս այլ երկրների, երկրորդ՝ երևի անթիվ–անհամար խորհրդականներդ մոռացել են քեզ զեկուցել, որ մեր հարևան ու եղբայրական Իրանում ծավալված իրանա–ամերիկյան պատերազմը կասեցնող և խաղաղություն բերող հիմնական միջնորդը հենց Պակիստանն է։ Հենց Պակիստանը, լինելով ատոմային տերություն, ունի մեծ ազդեցություն Ադրբեջանի վրա և նոր պատերազմի կանխման, Ադրբեջանի ագրեսիվ գործողությունների զսպման գործում կարող է լինել լուրջ դերակատար։ Սրանից զատ՝ Հայաստանի Հանրապետությունը վերջերս է դիվանագիտական հարաբերություններ հաստատել Պակիստանի հետ, թերևս հասկանալով նույնիսկ բարդ երկրների հետ հաղորդակցության դիվանագիտական ուղիներ ունենալու կարևորությունը։
 
Միջազգային փորձը ցույց է տալիս, որ երբեմն հենց կողմերից մեկի ռազմավարական գործընկերներն են կարողանում կանխել առավել վտանգավոր ուժային արկածախնդրությունը և զսպել առավել արմատական մոտեցումները։
 
Հայաստանի գլխավոր առաջնահերթությունը պետք է մնա պետության անվտանգությունը՝ բոլոր արդյունավետ դիվանագիտական և միջազգային գործիքների միջոցով։
Այո՛, մենք ուզում ենք լավ հարաբերություններ ունենալ և՛ Իրանի, և՛ ԱՄՆ–ի, և՛ ՌԴ–ի, և՛ Չինաստանի և բոլոր այն երկրների հետ, որոնք կարող են նպաստել երաշխավորված խաղաղություն ունենալու մեր տեսլականի կենսագործմանը։ , որտեղ բացարցակ առաջնահերթությունը կլինի Հայաստանն ու Հայաստանի անվտանգությունը։
 
Մեր համար դիվանագիտությունն արկածախնդրություն չէ, երբ միջազգային կարևորագույն բանակցությունների ժամանակ խոսում ես այլ բան, իսկ արդեն Հայաստանում՝ արմատապես այլ բան։
