Մեր սահմանամերձ գյուղերը այսօր վտանգի տակ են, կարելի է ասել Արցախին համարժեք հայաթափել են սահմանամերձ գյուղերը: Այս մասին իր կուսակիցների հետ հանդիպման ժամանակ ասել է «Ուժեղ Հայաստան» կուսակցության առաջնորդ Սամվել Կարապետյանը:

«Մեր ժողովուրդը վերջին տարիներին անհանգստանում է արտաքին վտանգներից և դրա առիթը այս իշխանությունը տվել է։ Մենք հիշում ենք, թե իր սխալ վարած քաղաքականության հաշվին ինչքան երիտասարդներ զոհվեցին, ինչքան երիտասարդների ապագաներ կործանեցին, բայց մենք ունենք միգուցե ավելի վտանգավոր և կարևոր հարց, որի մասին բոլորը լռում են, այս մարդիկ հանգիստ ու առանց աչքերը թարթելու փոքրացնում են ու նվաստացնում են մեր երկիրը, այսպես գնալով մի քանի տարի հետո մենք կարող ենք ունենալ առանց հայերի կամ շատ քիչ հայերով Հայաստան:

Մեր սահմանամերձ բոլոր գյուղերը այսօր վտանգի տակ են, կարելի է ասել Արցախին համարժեք հայաթափել են սահմանամերձ գյուղերը։ Ամուսնալուծությունները հասցրել են բացարձակ մակարդակի, որովհետև երիտասարդները՝ աշխատանք չունենալով, իրենց նվիրում են տարբեր անհարգի քայլերի և պրոբլեմ են սարքում իրենց ընտանիքների համար։ Ծնելիությունը նվազում է, մեր երկիրը կամաց-կամաց հայաթափվում է արտագաղթի հաշվին, ամեն ինչն այսօր նպաստում է, որ փոքրացնեն մեր երկիրը: Եթե մենք չկանգնեցնենք 300,000 ադրբեջանցիներին, շատ շուտով նրանք կհայտնվեն Հայաստանի տարբեր շրջաններում և առաջին հերթին Փաշինյանի կողմից ազատված սահմանամերձ շրջաններում և գյուղերում»,- նշել է Կարապետյանը:
