Meta-ն մինչև 2030 թվականը էներգիա կստանա տիեզերական արևային կայաններից

Meta Platforms ընկերությունը և տիեզերական ստարտափ Overview Energy-ն հայտարարել են տիեզերական արևային էներգիայի հիման վրա գեներացնող հզորությունների ամրագրման՝ իր տեսակի մեջ առաջին համաձայնագրի ստորագրման մասին։ Գործարքը նախատեսում է Meta-ին առաջնահերթ հասանելիություն տրամադրել Overview Energy-ի ապագա ուղեծրային արևային համակարգից ստացվող 1 ԳՎտ էլեկտրաէներգիային։

Մասշտաբը պատկերացնելու համար՝ 1 ԳՎտ-ն այնպիսի հզորություն է, որը համադրելի է մեկ ատոմային էներգաբլոկի աշխատանքի հետ. այն բավարար է հարյուր հազարավոր տնային տնտեսությունների կամ տվյալների մշակման խոշոր կենտրոնի սնուցման համար։ Ըստ էության, հենց իր տվյալների կենտրոնների համար էլ ընկերությունը ծրագրում է օգտագործել այս տեխնոլոգիան։ Overview Energy-ի համակարգը ներկայացնում է «մաքուր» էներգիայի արտադրության նոր մոտեցում, որը լուծում է վերգետնյա արևային էներգետիկայի գլխավոր խնդիրը՝ կախվածությունը օրվա ժամից և եղանակային պայմաններից։

Խոսքը գեոսինխրոն ուղեծրում (Երկրից ավելի քան 35 հազար կմ բարձրության վրա) գտնվող արբանյակների համակարգի մասին է, որոնք ունեն հասանելիություն արևի լույսին՝ առանց մթնոլորտային խոչընդոտների։ Էներգիան Երկիր կփոխանցվի մերձակա ինֆրակարմիր (NIR) տիրույթի լայն և անվտանգ ճառագայթի տեսքով։ Այս ինֆրակարմիր ճառագայթումը կարող են ընդունել սովորական արևային սիլիցիումային վահանակները (ընդ որում՝ դրանց արդյունավետությունն այս տիրույթում նույնիսկ ավելի բարձր է, քան տեսանելի լույսի կապույտ սպեկտրում), իսկ հետո, ինչպես սովորաբար, վերածել էլեկտրականության։ Այսինքն՝ ցամաքում հատուկ ընդունող սարքավորումներ չեն պահանջվի։

Լայն ճառագայթը արևային կայանի վրա «ուղղորդելու» հարցը դեռ առկա է, սակայն ստեղծողները խոստանում են յուրաքանչյուր վահանակի վրա տեղադրել հատուկ կողմնորոշիչ փարոսիկներ։ Թեև ամպերը ցրում են ինֆրակարմիր ճառագայթումը (ինչը տեխնոլոգիայի հեղինակներն ընդունում են), նրանք ծրագրում են ստեղծել վերգետնյա կայանների ցանց։ Քանի որ ուղեծրից արբանյակները կարող են միաժամանակ տեսնել Երկրի մոտ մեկ երրորդը, նրանք կկարողանան էներգիան ուղղել այն կայանին, որտեղ տվյալ պահին պարզ երկինք է։ Overview Energy-ի հեղինակները հավաստիացնում են, որ NIR ճառագայթումը անվտանգ է մարդկանց, կենդանիների և բույսերի համար։ Մարդիկ այն պարզապես չեն տեսնի, ինչպես և կենդանիների մեծ մասը։
