Ucom-ը հայտարարում է ածխածնային հետքի կառավարման ծրագրի մեկնարկի մասին

Ucom-ը՝  «Արևորդի» ՀԿ-ի հետ համագործակցությամբ, հայտարարում է բնապահպանական կայունության ուղղությամբ հերթական կարևոր քայլի մասին՝ մեկնարկելով իր գլխամասային գրասենյակի ածխածնային հետքի համապարփակ գնահատման ծրագիրը։ Այն հիմնված է ջերմոցային գազերի հաշվառման միջազգային ստանդարտի վրա (GHG Protocol)։

Այս նախաձեռնությունը ձևավորվում է այն համատեքստում, երբ կլիմայական փոփոխությունները, կենսաբազմազանության կորուստը և բնական ռեսուրսների սպառումը դարձել են ոչ թե ապագայի, այլ ներկայի մարտահրավերներ։ 

«Ucom-ում մենք հավատում ենք, որ տեխնոլոգիական ընկերությունները պետք է առաջնորդեն բնապահպանական նախաձեռնությունները՝  նպաստելով Հայաստանում ավելի պատասխանատու և կայուն ապագայի ձևավորմանը։ Որպես կանաչ ընկերություն, մենք պատրաստվում ենք  գնահատել և հնարավորինս նվազեցնել մեր ընկերության ազդեցությունը շրջակա միջավայրի վրա։  Մենք բնապահպանական կայունությունը դիտարկում ենք ոչ թե որպես առանձին նախաձեռնություն, այլ որպես մեր բիզնեսի և երկարաժամկետ ռազմավարության կարևոր բաղադրիչ»,  - նշել է Ucom-ի գլխավոր տնօրեն Ռալֆ Յիրիկյանը։

Ծրագրի շրջանակներում գնահատվելու են ընկերության գործունեության արդյունքում առաջացող արտանետումները և մշակվելու են դրանց նվազեցման հստակ ուղիներ։ Գնահատվելու են գործունեության բոլոր հիմնական ուղղությունները՝ էներգիայի սպառում, տրանսպորտ, թափոններ և գնումներ, ջերմոցային գազերի արտանետումներ: Այնուհետև կմշակվի ածխածնային հետքի կրճատման հստակ ճանապարհային քարտեզ՝ կարճաժամկետ և միջնաժամկետ նպատակներով, կներդրվեն մշտադիտարկման մեխանիզմներ՝ արդյունքների շարունակական գնահատման համար, կապահովվի թափանցիկ և հաշվետու հաղորդակցություն՝ հանրության և գործընկերների հետ։

«Այս նախաձեռնությունը կարևոր քայլ է, որին, կարծում եմ, պետք է հետևեն Հայաստանի բոլոր ընկերությունները։ Բնապահպանական կայունությունը ցանկացած բիզնեսի երկարաժամկետ զարգացման առանցքային պայմաններից է, և ուրախ եմ, որ արդեն տարիներ շարունակ Ucom-ի հետ միասին անցնում ենք այս ճանապարհը», - նշել է «Արևորդի» ՀԿ տնօրեն Ս. Քալանթարյանը։

Հայաստանի համար այս գործընթացը ստանում է լրացուցիչ կարևորություն՝ հաշվի առնելով, որ երկիրը կհյուրընկալի ՄԱԿ-ի Կենսաբազմազանության մասին կոնվենցիայի կողմերի 17-րդ համաժողովը (COP17)։ Սա հնարավորություն է ոչ միայն ցուցադրելու Հայաստանի բացառիկ կենսաբազամազանությունն ու մշակույթը, այլև այն, որ Հայաստանում բիզնեսը ևս պատրաստ է ուրվագծել կայուն ապագայի ճանապարհը։

Ucom-ը շարունակելու է զարգացնել իր բնապահպանական նախաձեռնությունները՝ համադրելով տեխնոլոգիական առաջընթացը և պատասխանատու բիզնեսի սկզբունքները։
