Էդմոն Մարուքյանը իր տելեգրամյան ալիքում գրում է․

30–40% ընտրող չի գտնում իր ընտրությունը․ մենք կփոխենք այդ վիճակը Այս տեսանյութում Էդմոն Մարուքյանը ներկայացնում է, թե ինչու է Լուսավոր Հայաստանը որոշել մասնակցել ընտրություններին և ինչ գաղափարական հիմք է դրվում այդ որոշման տակ։

Ըստ տարբեր հարցումների՝ ընտրողների շուրջ 30–40%-ը դեռ չի կողմնորոշվել, թե ում ընտրել և արդյոք ընդհանրապես գնալ ընտրության։ Այս իրավիճակը ցույց է տալիս, որ հասարակության զգալի հատվածը չի տեսնում քաղաքական այն առաջարկը, որը կարող է բավարարել իր սպասումները։

Տեսանյութում ներկայացվում է այն մոտեցումը, որի համաձայն ընտրությունները պետք է դիտարկել ոչ թե որպես վարչապետական պայքար, այլ որպես խորհրդարանական ներկայացվածության ապահովման գործընթաց, որտեղ կարևոր է հակակշռի և զսպման մեխանիզմների ձևավորումը։
