Փետրվարի 26-ին պարզ կլինի, թե ինչպիսի մարտահրավերի առջև է կանգնած Մերձավոր Արևելքը՝ այդ թվում նաև մեր երկիրը: Նախատեսվում է ԱՄՆ - Իրան բանակցությունների հերթական փուլը, որում Վաշինգտոնը պահանջում է ուրանի զրոյական հարստացում և հրթիռային ծրագրի սահմանափակում, իսկ Թեհրանը պահանջում է պատժամիջոցների լիակատար վերացում՝ նախքան որևէ զիջում անելը:

Փետրվարի 26-ին ամենայն հավանականությամբ Իրանը կներկայացնի, թե ինչպե՞ս է տեսնում հակամարտության դիվանագիտական լուծումը և փոխզիջումները: Հարցն այն է, որքանո՞վ են այդ լուծումներն ընդունելի լինելու ԱՄՆ-ի և Իսրայելի համար:

Դոնալդ Թրամփի կողմից ուժային տարբերակների քննարկման ֆոնին, դիվանագիտությունը գնալով ավելի քիչ է նմանվում փոխզիջման որոնմանը: Այն արդեն նմանվում է որոշում կայացնելուց առաջ, ժամանակ ձգելու համար վերցված դադարի: Իրանը ժամանակ է շահում՝ երևի թե միջուկային պատրաստության (հարստացման շեմին մոտենալու) համար, իսկ ԱՄՆ-ը՝ առաջին հարվածին լիարժեք և անսխալ պատրաստվելու համար:

Հետևելով միջազգային լրահոսին, կարելի է եզրակացնել, որ այսօրվա գլխավոր կանխատեսումն այն չէ, թե խաղաղ ճանապարհով որևէ համաձայնություն կլինի՞, թե ո՛չ։ Գլխավոր հարցադրումը ԱՄՆ-ի կողմից Իրանին հարված հասցնելու ձևաչափի մեջ է: Քննարկվում է, արդյո՞ք այն կվերածվի լայնածավալ գործողության, թե՞ կսահմանափակվի միջուկային ենթակառուցվածքների դեմ ուղղված թիրախային հարվածներով...
Միջազգային այս դժվար ու բախտորոշ ժամանակներում նայում ես Հայաստանի ներքաղաքական կյանքի դատարկամիտ ու անիմաստ «քննարկումներին» ու կրկին համոզվում, որ հայոց պետականության գոյության ապագան իշխանափոխության մեջ է:
