Արվեստ՝ պոդիումի վրա. Ուես Գորդոնը կին-մուսաներին վերածում է պայծառ հերոսուհիների՝ Carolina Herrera-ի նոր հավաքածուի համար

Անցյալ տարվա Մադրիդյան ոգեշնչմամբ ցուցադրությունից հետո, որտեղ պոդիումը հիշեցնում էր իսպանական ճարտարապետության և գեղարվեստական ​​գանձերի մթնոլորտը, Ուես Գորդոնը վերադարձավ Նյու Յորք՝ ժամանակակից արվեստը ձևավորող կանանց նվիրված հավաքածուով։

«Ես ուզում եմ նշել այն կանանց, որոնց հաճախ մոռացել է պատմությունը», - ասում է Գորդոնը՝ Փեգի Գուգենհայմին անվանելով եզակի ոճի և համարձակ ճաշակի խորհրդանիշ, որը ազդել է իր տեսողական տրամադրության վրա։

Հավաքածուն սերտորեն կապված է ապրանքանիշի՝ «Կինը արվեստում» գլոբալ հարթակի հետ, որը աջակցում է Մադրիդի Թիսսեն թանգարանում կազմակերպված «Մաեստրաներ» ցուցահանդեսից մինչև Ռիո դե Ժանեյրոյում կարի արհեստանոցներ կազմակերպված նախագծերին։

Ցուցադրության համար Միթփեքինգ շրջանում գտնվող ստուդիան վերածվել էր արվեստի ստուդիայի. ամերիկացի նկարչուհի Սառա Օլիֆանտը ստեղծել էր մեծածավալ նկարներ, որոնք հատուկ նախագծված էին ցուցադրության համար։ «Տպավորություն է, թե իսկական նկարչի ստուդիա է»,-նշում է Գորդոնը։

Ցուցահանդեսին ներկայացված էին ժամանակակից արվեստի իսկական մուսաներ՝ Էմի Շերալդը, Անհ Դուոնգը, Էլիզա Դուգլասը, Ֆլորիա Քարինը, Հաննա Տրաորեն, Մինգ Սմիթը և Ռեյչել Ֆեյնշտեյնը՝ ցուցադրելով կանանց բազմասերունդ ազդեցությունը մշակույթի և նորաձևության վրա։

Հավաքածուի ուրվագծերը ներդաշնակորեն համատեղում են զուսպ նրբագեղությունը վինտաժային շեշտադրումներով. 80-ականների կլորացված ուսեր, նրբագեղ բաճկոններ, կակաչի նման կիսաշրջազգեստներ և եթերային պրինտներով զգեստներ, որոնք սահում են ամբողջ մարմնով։ Ընձառյուծի նախշերը, ոսկեգույնը և փայլերը ժամանակակից երանգ են հաղորդում, մինչդեռ բլուզների և կիսաշրջազգեստների վրա նուրբ կոշիկի նախշերը խաղային երանգ են հաղորդում՝ հղում անելով Good Girl օծանելիքի 10-ամյակին։

Ցածր կրունկներով կոշիկները՝ նուրբ ժապավեններով, և մետաղական ծաղկային դետալներով պայուսակները ներդաշնակություն են ստեղծում աքսեսուարների հետ, մինչդեռ սյունաձև զգեստները արտացոլում են նույն դեկորատիվ մոտիվները՝ միավորելով հավաքածուն միասնական տեսողական կտավի մեջ։

«Այս հավաքածուում ես համատեղում եմ արտահայտչականությունն ու գործնականությունը։ Այն վերաբերում է ձևի մաքրությանը, կանանց ուժին և հմայքի ժամանակակից ըմբռնմանը»,-եզրափակում է Գորդոնը։
