Արդյոք Վենսը Բաքվում քննարկե՞լ է հայ գերիների հարցը

Փոխնախագահ Ջեյ Դի Վենսն Ադրբեջանի նախագահ Իլհամ Ալիևի հետ քննարկել է Բաքվում պահվող հայ գերիների ազատ արձակման հարցը։ Այդ մասին Բաքվում Ջեյ Դի Վենսի և Իլհամ Ալիևի հանդիպումից հետո հայտնել է փոխնախագահի մամուլի քարտուղարը։

«Նախագահ Ալիևը և փոխնախագահ Վենսը քննարկել են նախագահ Թրամփի՝ Հայաստանում և Ադրբեջանում խաղաղություն հաստատելու նախաձեռնության հաջորդ քայլերը։ Նրանք կենտրոնացել են առևտրի և բարգավաճման, տեխնոլոգիաների և դիվանագիտական կապերի վրա, ինչպես նաև խոսել են հաջորդ քայլերի մասին, այդ թվում՝ Միջազգային խաղաղության և բարգավաճման Թրամփի ուղու համար պայմանագրերի կնքման և թույլտվությունների, ինչպես նաև վստահության ամրապնդման միջոցառումների շուրջ, ինչպիսիք են բանտարկյալների ազատ արձակումը, ամերիկյան ներդրումները և տարածաշրջանային տնտեսական ինտեգրացիան»,– փոխանցել է փոխնախագահի խոսնակը։

Ամերիկյան կողմը, սակայն, չի մանրամասնել, թե ինչ արձագանք է եղել ադրբեջանական կողմից և կան արդյոք այս հարցով կոնկրետ պայմանավորվածություններ։ Դեռ մինչ ԱՄՆ փոխնախագահը Երևանում էր, հայկական կողմը՝ Արարատ Միրզոյանի և Նիկոլ Փաշինյանի բերանով, հայտարարում էր, թե Վենսի հետ քննարկել են գերիների թեման։ Ինքը՝ Ջեյ Դի Վենսն էլ «Զվարթնոց» օդանավակայանում հաստատել էր տեղեկությունը՝ նշելով, որ հարցը բարձրացնելու է Բաքվում։

Տրամաբանական կլիներ, իհարկե, որ Ադրբեջանն ազատ արձակեր գոնե գերիների մի մասին։ Այսօր Բաքվում, պաշտոնական տվյալներով, պահվում է 19 հայ, որոնց մի մասը Արցախի ռազմաքաղաքական ղեկավարության ներկայացուցիչներ են։ Օրինակ՝ Բաքուն, որպես բարի կամքի դրսևորում, կարող էր Վենսի այցի կապակցությամբ ազատել մի քանի գերիների, ինչը, սակայն, չի արվել։ Եվ որքան էլ Սպիտակ տնից հայտարարվի, թե այդ հարցով քննարկում եղել է, փաստն այն է, որ գերիները շարունակում են մնալ անազատության մեջ։
