Ալիևը օբյեկտիվորեն շահագրգռված է Նիկոլ Փաշինյանի իշխանության պահպանությամբ, քանի որ վերջինիս քաղաքական գիծը տարածքային պահանջներից հրաժարումն է, Արցախյան հիմնահարցի փակումը, լողացող խաղաղության օրակարգի առաջ մղումը, որը չի երաշխավորում անվտանգություն, սուբյեկտայնություն և պաշտպանունակություն, այսինքն սրանք քայլեր են, որ լիարժեք համապատասխանում են Ադրբեջանի ռազմավարական շահերին։ Հենց այդ պատճառով Ադրբեջանը խուսափում է կտրուկ ապակայունացնող քայլերից Հայաստանի ներսում և աջակցում է, որպեսզի այստեղ իշխանափոխություն չլինի։
 
Այս ամենը հաշվի առնելով` իրապես ընդդիմադիր դաշտում բոլոր դերակատարները պետք է իջեցնեն իրենց հավակնությունների բարձր նշաձողը, հաղթահարեն սեփական էգոն ու առաջինը լինելու մեծամտությունը, փորձեն «դաշինքային» ու ընդհանուր ազգային շահերի համընկման տրամաբանությամբ աշխատել ու բերել փոփոխություններ ընտրությունների միջոցով․ պետք է գիտակցել մեկ պարզ բան` ներկայիս իշխանությունը չի ներկայացնում Հայաստանի պետական շահերը, այն պատրաստ է իրավականորեն ամրագրել Ադրբեջանի ռազմական հաղթանակը, ու այսօր ձևավորվել է մի վտանգավոր իրավիճակ, երբ արտաքին թշնամու շահերը համընկնում են գործող իշխանության քաղաքական գոյատևման շահերի հետ։ Կարելի՞ է արդյոք ի վերջո հաղթահարել քաղաքական բադույթավորված վարքագիծը ու պայքարել մեկ ճակատով, կարծում եմ ընդամենը տեխնիկայի, մեթոդբանության հարց է, եթե իհարկե իշխանության վերարտադրության շահը ստորադասում եք պետության ազգային շահին:
