Եպիսկոպոսաց ժողովը կանեն Ավստրիայում

Ամենայն Հայոց կաթողիկոսի հրավերով Եպիսկոպոսաց ժողովը տեղի կունենա Ավստրիայի Սանկտ Փյոլթեն քաղաքում՝ փետրվարի 16–19-ը։ Մայր Աթոռի Տեղեկատվական համակարգի տնօրեն Եսայի քահանա Արթենյանի խոսքով՝ Հայ Առաքելական Եկեղեցու որևէ ժողովական մարմին, բացառությամբ Ազգային-Եկեղեցական ժողովի, իր նիստերը կարող է գումարել ցանկացած վայրում։ Նման նախադեպեր եղել են ինչպես Եպիսկոպոսաց ժողովի, այնպես էլ Գերագույն հոգևոր խորհրդի գումարման պարագայում։

Ավելի վաղ կաթողիկոսը դեկտեմբերի 10–12-ը Եպիսկոպոսաց ժողով էր հրավիրել՝ քննության առնելու Հայաստանյայց Առաքելական Սուրբ Եկեղեցու շուրջ վերջին զարգացումները և ներեկեղեցական կյանքին առնչվող հարցեր։ Մայր Աթոռը, սակայն, հայտարարեց, որ Եպիսկոպոսաց ժողովը ժամանակավորապես հետաձգվում է՝ պայմանավորված բռնաճնշումներով։ Եվ այժմ ժողովն Ավստրիա տեղափոխելով՝ Հայ Առաքելական Եկեղեցին փորձում է կանխել իշխանության կողմից հնարավոր բռնաճնշումները։ Իսկ որ դրանք լինելու են, որևէ կասկած չկա։ Փաշինյանը հրաշալի հասկանում է, որ այդ ժողովից հետո իր դիրքերն անհամեմատ թուլանալու են, իր կողմն անցած եպիսկոպոսներն ու քահանաները մնալու են ձեռնունայն, Կաթողիկոսին գահընկեց անելու իր ջանքերն էլ ի դերև են ելնելու։

Ուստի չի բացառվում, որ փորձի իրավապահ համակարգին քսի տալ Գարեգին Բ-ին հավատարմությունը պահպանած հոգևորականների վրա, շատերին էլ կալանավորի։ Չի բացառվում, որ Փաշինյանը թիրախավորի նույնիսկ Գարեգին Բ կաթողիկոսին։ Խորհրդարանական ընտրություններից առաջ պարտություն կրելով եկեղեցու դեմ պայքարում՝ Փաշինյանը տանուլ կտա ամեն ինչ, իսկ ընտրություններում ընդդիմադիր ուժերի հաղթանակը գրեթե կանխորոշված կլինի։ Ուստի մինչև ժողովի մեկնարկը հարկ է սպասել իշխանության նոր բռնաճնշումների։
