Персидский залив окрасился цветом крови, как в библейском пророчестве

Воды Персидского залива окрасились в кроваво-красный цвет, как и предсказывали библейские пророчества о Судном дне, пишет газета Daily Mail.

В Сети разошлись видеоролики с иранского острова Хормуз. На видео запечатлен момент, когда проливной дождь вдоль побережья приобрел насыщенный красный оттенок, стекая со скал. Потоки кровавого цвета затопили океан и изменили цвет морской воды, пишет издание.

Как отмечается, в Откровении Иоанна Богослова упоминалось, что моря покраснеют перед приближением конца света. Несмотря на связь с пророчествами о конце света, красные дожди в Иране объясняются обилием богатой оксидом железа красной почвы на острове Хормуз, пишет издание.

Исследователи выяснили, что уникальный химический состав почв острова сформировался за миллионы лет, и включает в себя слои сланца, глины, вулканических пород и более 70 минералов. По информации Daily Mail, преобладающий красный цвет на Хормуз обусловлен наличием оксида железа, также известного как гематит, который образовался на острове в результате вулканической активности много веков назад.
