Հռոմի պապը Թուրքիա այցի վերջին օրն աղոթել է Հայ եկեղեցում և ողջույններ փոխանցել Կաթողիկոսին

Թուրքիա կատարած առաքելական ճամփորդության չորրորդ և վերջին օրը Հռոմի պապ Լևոն XIV-ն առավոտը սկսեց Ստամբուլի Հայ առաքելական տաճարում աղոթքով։

Ըստ Վատիկանի մամուլի ծառայության, իր ուղերձում Հռոմի պապը ողջունել է Ն.Ս.Օ.Տ.Տ. Գարեգին Բ Ծայրագույն Պատրիարք և Ամենայն Հայոց Կաթողիկոսին, ինչպես նաև Թուրքիայի ողջ հայ առաքելական համայնքին։

Նա գոհություն է հայտնել Տիրոջը ողջ պատմության ընթացքում՝ հաճախ ողբերգական հանգամանքներում, հայ ժողովրդի քաջարի քրիստոնեական վկայության համար։

Հռոմի պապը նաև երախտագիտություն է հայտնել Հայ Առաքելական և Կաթոլիկ եկեղեցիները միավորող և ամրապնդվող եղբայրական կապերի համար։ Նա հիշեցրել է, որ Հռոմի պապի և Արևելյան ուղղափառ պատրիարքի միջև առաջին համատեղ հռչակագիրը 1970 թվականի մայիսին ստորագրել են Պողոս VI պապը և Վազգեն Ա կաթողիկոսը։

«Այդ ժամանակվանից ի վեր, Աստծո ողորմածությամբ, մեր Եկեղեցիների միջև «գթասրտության երկխոսությունը» ծաղկում է ապրել»,- ասել է նա։

Ըստ Հռոմի պապի, Թուրքիա իր այցը նվիրված է Նիկիական հանգանակին, քանի որ Եկեղեցին նշում է Նիկիայի տիեզերաժողովի 1700-ամյակը, և հիշեցնում է Եկեղեցու գոյության առաջին դարերում Արևելքի և Արևմուտքի միջև տիրող միասնության մասին։

«Մենք պետք է ոգեշնչվենք վաղ Եկեղեցու փորձից՝ վերականգնելու լիակատար հաղորդությունը, որը ենթադրում է ոչ թե կլանում կամ գերիշխանություն, այլ մեր Եկեղեցիների՝ Սուրբ Հոգուց ստացած պարգևների փոխանակում՝ ի փառս Հայր Աստծո և ի շինություն Քրիստոսի մարմնի»,- ասել է Լևոն XIV-ը։

Նա հույս է հայտնել, որ Կաթոլիկ և Արևելյան ուղղափառ եկեղեցիների միջև աստվածաբանական երկխոսության միացյալ միջազգային հանձնաժողովը շուտով կկարողանա վերսկսել լիակատար հաղորդության հասնելուն ուղղված աշխատանքը։ Հռոմի պապը հիշատակել է 12-րդ դարի հայ կաթողիկոս սուրբ Ներսես Դ Շնորհալուն և «եկեղեցիների հաշտեցման, բոլորի միասնության մասին Քրիստոսի աղոթքն իրականացնելու» ուղղությամբ նրա անխոնջ աշխատանքը։

«Թող սուրբ Ներսեսի օրինակը ոգեշնչի մեզ, իսկ նրա աղոթքը զորացնի դեպի լիակատար միասնություն տանող ճանապարհին»,- ընդգծել է նա։

Եզրափակելով՝ Լևոն XIV-ը շնորհակալություն է հայտնել Կոստանդնուպոլսի պատրիարք Սահակ Բ-ին՝ Հայ առաքելական եկեղեցու պատրիարքական տաճարում ջերմ ընդունելության համար։

«Եկեք բաց սրտերով ընդունենք ի վերուստ տրված այդ պարգևը, որպեսզի լինենք Ավետարանական ճշմարտության էլ ավելի համոզիչ վկաներ և Քրիստոսի միասնական Եկեղեցու առաքելության լավագույն սպասավորներ»,- ասել է նա։
