Հիմա մենք պետք է մեր ողջ քաղաքական միտքը ներդնենք՝ հասկանալու համար, թե ինչպես կարող է Հայաստանը լավ հարաբերություններ պահպանել Ռուսաստանի հետ գնալով դեպի Արևմուտք․ Մհեր Ավետիսյան

Մհեր Ավետիսյանը ֆեյսբուքյան իր էջում գրել է․
 
Այսօր Հայաստանի քաղաքական կյանքում ամենակարևոր հարցը, որ պետք է քննարկվի՝ կարող է Հայաստանը ոչ միայն շարունակել երկու լարի վրա խաղալ, այլ առհասարակ գնալ դեպի Արևմուտք՝ քաղաքական հայտ ներկայացնելու՝ Եվրամիության անդամ դառնալու՞ թե ոչ։ Սա միակ հարցն է, որը պետք է քննարկի Հայաստանի քաղաքական դաշտը, բայց հայաստանյան քաղաքական ուժերը խոսում են գրեթե ամեն ինչից, բացի Հայաստանի համար անվտանգության ամենակարևորագույն հարցի՝ երկու լարի վրա խաղալու քաղաքականության մասին։ Ավելին՝ նախկին նախագահները գլուխ են գովում, որ իրենց ժամանակ լավ հարաբերություններ են ունեցել և՛ Արևմուտքի, և՛ Ռուսաստանի հետ, մոռանալով, որ այն ժամանակ դեռևս Արևմուտքի և Ռուսաստանի հարաբերությունները լարված չէին և երկու կողմերը չէին պատրաստվում պատերազմել միմյանց դեմ։
 
Առհասարակ, 2007 թվականի Պուտինի մյունխենյան ելույթից հետո արդեն իսկ ակնհայտ էր դառնում, տեսանելի էր, որ աշխարհը գնում է դեպի բախման և այլևս երկու լարի վրա խաղալու գործընթացը օրեցօր դարձնելու է անհնարին։ Բայց արի ու տես՝ 2007 թվականից հետո Հայաստանը ոչ միայն չդադարեց երկու լարի վրա խաղալ, այլ ստորագրեց եվրոասոցացում, փոխեց սահմանադրությունը՝ երկիրը դարձնելու պառլամենտական և շարունակեց ավելի հստակ քայլեր կատարել, և այսօր էլ շարունակում է ոչ միայն քայլեր կատարել, այլ արդեն բացեիբաց հայտարարել, որ Հայաստանը գնում է Արևմուտք։
 
Հիմա մենք պետք է մեր ողջ քաղաքական միտքը ներդնենք՝ հասկանալու համար, թե ինչպես կարող է Հայաստանը լավ հարաբերություններ պահպանել Ռուսաստանի հետ գնալով դեպի Արևմուտք, որը իր հերթին պատրաստվում է, զինվում է, իր ռազմական բյուջեն է մեծացնում, պրոպագանդա է իրականացնում սեփական հասարակությանը հակառուսական դարձնելու համար՝ որպեսզի պատերազմը Ռուսաստանի հետ հնարավոր դառնա։
 
Ժողովուրդ ջան, եթե մեր քաղաքական էլիտաները շարունակելու են ամեն ինչից խոսել, բացի մեր անվտանգությունից, բացի մեր պետության համար ամենակարևոր խնդրից, դա նշանակում է, որ մենք պետք է հասարակական ձևաչափով ձևավորենք քննարկումների հարթակներ՝ հասկանալու համար, թե ինչու է Հայաստանը գնում դեպի Արևմուտք՝ վտանգելով սեփական ժողովրդի և պետության ապագան։ Իսկ այն, որ դեպի Արևմուտք գնալու Հայաստանի ձգտումը ակնհայտորեն վտանգում է հայոց պետականությունն ու հայ ժողովրդի անվտանգությունը, սա փաստ է, որի հետ շատ քչերը կարող են հիմնավորումներով բանավիճել։
Ես, հաշվի առնելով հենց այս հանգամանքները, դարձյալ ուզում եմ պնդել, որ Հայաստանին անհրաժեշտ է նոր որակի՝ հայ-ռուսական հարաբերությունների անփոխարինելիությունը գիտակցող ընդդիմություն, քանզի իշխանությունը մեծ հաշվով արդեն որդեգրել է Արևմուտք գնալու քաղաքականություն։ Եվ բոլոր այն ուժերը, որոնք իրենց ընդդիմություն են համարում, բայց իրենք էլ են մտածում, որ հնարավոր է երկու լարի վրա խաղալ կամ դեմ չեն, որ Հայաստանը գնա Արևմուտք, մեծ հաշվով ընդդիմություն չեն գործող իշխանությանը և, մեծ հաշվով, օգնում են գործող իշխանությանը Հայաստանը դեպի Արևմուտք տանելու՝ հայ ժողովրդի և հայոց պետականության համար կործանարար գործունեության շրջանակներում։
