Եգիպտոսում մշակվել են ինքնամաքրվող արևային վահանակներ

Կահիրեի Գերմանական համալսարանի հետազոտողները ստեղծել են արևային վահանակների ինքնամաքրման տեխնոլոգիա, որը ներշնչված է ծառերի տերևների մաքրման բնական մեխանիզմով։ Նոր համակարգը թույլ է տալիս հեռացնել փոշին մոդուլների մակերևույթից թրթռման միջոցով՝ առանց ջրի կամ քիմիական միջոցների օգտագործման՝ պահպանելով բարձր արդյունավետություն անգամ չոր կլիմայական պայմաններում։ Փոշին արևային էներգետիկայի գլխավոր խնդիրներից մեկն է չոր շրջաններում․ այն նվազեցնում է մոդուլների թափանցիկությունը և կտրուկ վատացնում դրանց արտադրողականությունը։

Ինժեներական և նյութագիտության ֆակուլտետի պրոֆեսոր Մոհամեդ Սալամ Աբդ էլ-Հադիի թիմը ստեղծել է համակարգ, որը նմանակում է այն բնական գործընթացը, որով ծառերի տերևները մաքրվում են փոշուց՝ քամու և շարժման ազդեցությամբ։ Համակարգը ստեղծում է թրթռում, որի շնորհիվ փոշին թափվում է արևային վահանակների մակերևույթից։ Մաքրությունը պահպանելու համար բավական է օրական երկու կարճատև թրթռումային ցիկլ՝ յուրաքանչյուրը մեկ րոպե տևողությամբ։

Հետազոտությունների տվյալներով՝ Մերձավոր Արևելքի երկրներում փոշին կարող է վեց օրվա ընթացքում նվազեցնել արևային մոդուլների արդյունավետությունը 17 տոկոսով, իսկ կես տարվա ընթացքում՝ ավելի քան 60 տոկոսով։ Նոր տեխնոլոգիան թույլ է տալիս նվազագույնի հասցնել այդ կորուստները։ Առաջին փորձարկումները անցկացվել են Կահիրեի բնակելի համալիրներից մեկում։ Վեց շաբաթ անց՝ փոշոտ միջավայրում աշխատելուց հետո, սովորական վահանակները կորցրել էին իրենց արդյունավետության մոտ 33 տոկոսը, մինչդեռ թրթռումային համակարգով և հատուկ ծածկույթով հագեցած վահանակները՝ ընդամենը 12.9 տոկոս։
