Ռուսաստանը հայելային պատասխան կտա, եթե որևէ միջուկային տերություն միջուկային զենքի փորձարկում անցկացնի, հայտարարել է ՌԴ ԱԳ նախարար Սերգեյ Լավրովը՝ ТАСС-ի փոխանցմամբ:

«Մեր դիրքորոշումը Վլադիմիր Պուտինը ներկայացրել է 2023 թվականին, երբ իր ելույթներից մեկում նա ասել է, որ եթե միջուկային տերություններից որևէ մեկը միջուկային զենքի փորձարկումներ անցկացնի, ոչ թե կրիչների, ոչ թե ենթակրիտիկական փորձարկումների, այլ միջուկային զենքի փորձարկումների, ապա Ռուսաստանը կանի նույնը», - հիշեցրել է ՌԴ ԱԳ նախարարը:

Ավելի վաղ ԱՄՆ նախագահը հայտարարել էր, որ Պենտագոնին հանձնարարել է անհապաղ վերսկսել միջուկային զենքի փորձարկումները՝ հղում անելով այն փաստին, որ որոշ այլ երկրներ արդեն դա անում են։ Թրամփը չի մանրամասնել, թե ինչ փորձարկումների մասին է խոսքը, կամ արդյոք դա ներառում է միջուկային մարտագլխիկների պայթեցում։

Նոյեմբերի 5-ին Անվտանգության խորհրդի հետ հանդիպման ժամանակ Վլադիմիր Պուտինը հանձնարարել է ԱԳՆ-ին, ՊՆ-ին, հետախուզական ծառայություններին և քաղաքացիական գերատեսչություններին հավաքել և վերլուծել լրացուցիչ տեղեկատվություն և ներկայացնել համակարգված առաջարկներ միջուկային զենքի փորձարկումների նախապատրաստման աշխատանքների հնարավոր մեկնարկի վերաբերյալ։ ՌԴ նախագահի մամուլի քարտուղար Դմիտրի Պեսկովը ընդգծել էր, որ նախագահը չի հրահանգել փորձարկման նախապատրաստական ​​աշխատանքներ իրականացնել, նա հրահանգել է, որ քննարկվի նման փորձարկումների նախապատրաստական ​​աշխատանքները սկսելու նպատակահարմարությունը։
