Շատ կարևոր են հարաբերությունները Ռուսաստանի հետ, բայց մենք պետք է ունենանք երկրորդ դաշնակցային գիծը. «Մեր ձևով» շարժման առաջին հաշվետու ժողովից հետո, լրագրողների հետ զրույցում ասաց «Մեր ձեւով» շարժման համակարգող Նարեկ Կարապետյանը։

Նա մանրամասնեց․ «Կարող է ինչ-որ պահի քո հիմնական դաշնակցի մոտ լինել իրավիճակ, որը անվտանգային խնդիրներ կարող է ստեղծել, ավելի լայն միջազգային դաշինքները  Հայաստանի համար ընդունելի են»։

Ինչ վերաբերվում է Հայաստանում իշխող ուժի՝ «Քաղաքացիական պայմանագրի» արևմտամետ լինելուն էլ, Նարեկ Կարապետյանն ասաց՝ իրենք իրենց այդպիսինն են համարում, որովհետև ոչ հյուսիսում, ոչ հարավում, ոչ արևելքում չկարողացան հարաբերություն ստեղծել։

«Թրամփի ուղուն» վերաբերվող հարցին էլ Նարեկ Կարապետյանը պատասխանեց, որ պետք է շատ զգույշ լինել այդ պայմանավորվածություններից խոսելիս, քանի որ պետք է ուսումնասիրվի դրանց իրագործելիությունը. «Մեր բանաձևն այս պահին՝ հասկանալ եռակողմ հայտարարության, որտեղ ԱՄՆ-ը, որպես վկա էր հանդես եկել, հետևանքները և իրագործելիությունը, ըստ դրա կգնանք մյուս քայլերին»։
